I donated to BLM too. Doesn’t mean I’m responsible for someone else’s actions. If you support police does it mean you’re responsible for Chauvin dragging a handcuffed suspect out of the back of his police vehicle and intentionally killing him? Fox News trying to blame Rex for something entirely unrelated is typical. That bail fund was mostly for black folks targeted by unequally enforced drug laws and if you act like you don’t know that, well, you’re probably the type of idiot that watches Fox News.

What a strange take.

BLM was aiding and abetting very bad actors, right from the first wave of violence and murder. They obviously still do.

If you gave to them, you helped support it. This kind of rationalization is nonsense.

“Well I gave to the Klan but it doesn’t mean I’m responsible for their actions.”

He was failing miserably until South Carolina when the powers that be decided he would be their chosen puppet. Then magically he began rattling off primary wins. Was it because of some brilliant speech he gave or groundbreaking policy idea he introduced? Nope. He was the guy that was most easily controlled. They screwed your boy Bernie twice Dion. You should be madder than hell at them. But you’re not. Yet you call conservatives mindless followers.

Damn. The truth should hurt Dion, but it doesn't, because Dion is a mindless drone. Just a Democrat meatbag with a heartbeat. His only purpose is to cast a communist fascist vote for the Democrats.

Biden won the primary easily. The moderate candidates smashed the progressives in total votes. The opposite of the Republican party where the radicals outnumber the moderates more than two to one and are growing by the day. I'm not endorsing all Dem policy or speaking from personal bias. I personally wish there were more progressives. But there aren't. It's likely that Joe Biden's desired policy is closer to yours than mine.
Couple of points re: your post:

1. Democrats closed ranks to give Biden the nod for POTUS nomination. I wouldn’t say the moderates “smashed” the progressives in total votes. Rather, I would say the fix was in for 2020 just like it was in 2016. Sanders had a lot more support among Democrats than the primary results would indicate. The fixers in the DNC saw Biden as the safer, more palatable candidate and they cleared the path for him to get the nomination.

2. Both parties have become more “extreme” in their positions. Pro-life Democrats are essentially extinct, whereas pro-choice Republicans are still relatively prevalent (I use this as a surrogate for the culture issues). I would argue the Dems have become much more extreme over the past 20 years or so.

I’m conservative, I have no great love for the GOP, but it best represents my views.

I can't stand Gates but some of these things pinned on him are simply wrong. He isn't trying to reduce earths population at all. He would like to try a watered down version of a nuclear winter to help offset global warming. That plan is pure idiocy. He's arrogant and has too much money and has become totally infatuated with his own opinions.
The one great thing he's doing is TerraPower - experimental Na-cooled nuclear plant in WY. Not far-fetched at all. China been developing one for 10 years now.

He owns 269000 acres, roughly 20x20 miles in total. It's a business investment and a good one. Just so you know the scale, over the next 5 years they expect 92 million acres of arable land to change hands. That kinda dwarfs his holdings.

I can't stand Gates but these irrational attempts to demonize the man with innuendo and false information is silly.
It's the political thread. What else do you expect from the conspiracy theorists here for all kinds of stuff?

And he should know too. He’s complicit. I still think if the republicans run away with the 2022 elections. Whatever this axis of evil mutherphuchers release in 2024 will make Covid look like childs play.
Pubs should win the House but not by huge numbers. Just too many safe nutcase Dim districts that can't be flipped. Net, can't see Dims dropping under 200 seats.

We can disagree over politics all day long, but you have to agree your party has a serious problem. You're infested with these cockroaches. They outnumber you almost 3 to 1. A return to power for Republicans is a sweeping to power of Marjorie Taylor Greene, Trump, and @Gassy_Knowls. With every primary the party and leadership slide further away from truth and toward troll.
Your warped mind can't see the progressives - LOL - overwhelming your party. The lack of rationality way predominates amongst the Dims. Sandy make MTG a model of sanity.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to drag the Democratic Party that’s already dominated by moderates further right than to get consumed by the rabid hordes of Newsmax flunkies trying to install a reality TV star as God-Emperor?
I want no part of so-called Dim moderates. Even Manchin only looks good by comparison, but I'd vote any Pub candidate for Senate in WV except Trump himself over Manchin. In the case of Trump, I'd find someone else.

Very much like VH. claims to be a conservative, yet makes every point against the right, and parrots every left talking point.

Sniff sniff. Yep. A rat.
I just don't line up to wipe Trump's a$$ like the rest of you. Y'all don't know his sh!t stinks.

In the last 3 or 4 pages, has vehemently defended vaccines, Bill Gates, the NYT, trudeau, etc, etc. Denies the pedophilia of Epstein and others, and I could go on.

Weak sauce, dude.
The vaccines are a good deal for anyone over 30, maybe less.

No BBGA is a good dude on the sports boards and has been around a long time. On this board his posts are a mixed bag, but I respect his right to express his opinions, even if I don’t agree with everything he posts.
And here I thought Bill D had sniffed out another of my aliases. Dam. 🤣

If Trump is the nominee in 24, and if he chooses to run he will be, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Gabbard as his running mate.
What? She opposes Trump's vaccines. Voted against Trump's border protection & walls. Voted in favor of Net neutrality. Why would he pick her vs. a conservative?

She makes Manchin look good. And you think I'm a RINO. Good grief.

Played at UK, the best program in the country. Played many years in the nba. Sounds like a home run to me
He was born with unworldly athleticism, had a father who was a former basketball star at WKU and coached him all the way to college. Those 2-3 advantages were instrumental in his success. Yet he acts like he was wronged and had a rough life.

My view on this dude, NBA player into drugs, fired from jobs because of addiction and his star luster wore off then started the usual addiction behavior, stealing, robbing whatever then knows there is nowhere to go unless he goes all out lib where he’s embraced. That’s about it and it worked for him

If anyone remembers Kent State, I was a military policeman at the time. Shortly after Kent State, the brass was worried about a protest at one of our sites. They took about a 100 or so of us and put us on standby to deploy as back ups if necessary. The issued us M-16's and NO AMMO and told us none would be issued. They didn't want another Kent State, but if something would have happened, there was no way to protect ourselves. Luckily, we were not deployed, but that was a potential disaster waiting to happen.

Wow. His father helped him. That almost never happens. Had he not had the talent to play at UK and the nba his dad could have not made that happen.

Injuries and surgery’s led to the drug use. I know you don’t care about that. Doesn’t fit your narrative. Rush was a huge pill head. He was lucky enough to be rich and could buy his drugs.

I often don't agree with Rex Chapman but I respect his opinions and wish him nothing but the best. Still, though, I don't see how you can objectively call him a "home run". He has a long history of making bad decisions and rushing to (and sharing) judgments before verifying the facts.

SI: Chapman, 47, says he doesn't recall committing these alleged crimes because he was in a scrambled, foggy state of mind, which was largely the result of an addiction to prescription narcotics that stretches back more than 15 years

And so on.
