This defense looks like a Hal Mumme defense.
There can't be a defense that tackles worse than we do.

I figured this would be a loss because we really aren’t that good. We’ll win out after this loss and probably struggle to beat Louisville, then go to the Peach or Citrus Bowl.
Besides one play our offense has been amazing. Hopefully the D can get at least a few more stops and our O keeps scoring.

Stoops D is getting embarrassed. He should have punted right before the half and ensured a tie game at the half and he should have punted there at midfield only down 3. The defense has been so awful tonight that giving Tennessee the ball midfield is handing them points.

Coaches lost that game. Defense was horrendous too but the decision making by the coaches was just to be expected.

I’m at a loss for how bad our defense and coaches decision making was. Then you convert a 4th and 24 only to have 4 straight passes and 3 of them uncatchable. Unreal.
I was really wanting an 11-2 season though man. We don’t get many chances. And a season with a win over Florida and Tennessee is just as rare. Rough night.
A 12-1 season could have been a real possibility, but UK crapped the bed the last two weeks. Both games were very winnable.
If this Levis shows up in Starkville we win that game.
I guess the silver lining is God isn’t quite ready to end the world just yet.
T'was nice to dream. I also thought 10-2 or 11-2 was possible. Wow. Huge letdown. 3 games left on the schedule.

Man, all I can figure is oxendine was the glue, heart and soul of the defense. When he was in, we had a really solid D. Ever since he went out, we’ve look mediocre to terrible.
We should win the next 3, but rivalry games can be wild.
At least Louisville got stopped 4 plays inside the 10 yard line against Clemson to lose the game...Florida lost 40-17 to South Carolina.
The truth of the matter is when we were 6-0 it was against a bunch of mediocre or downright bad teams. There is a lot to like about Mark Stoops, but he has been the beneficiary of the easiest schedules of any UK coach of my lifetime. Rich Brooks faced schedules (Urban Meyer at Florida, Fulmer at Tennessee, Spurrier at South Carolina) that Stoops hasn't had to face. The SEC East has been historically weak during his time here, and Stoops has facilities and money pumped into the program far and away better than the coaches before him. Stoops isn't going to out coach anyone, I think we can see that by now. Some better recruiting overall and the stability of being here like a decade has proven useful when some other programs in the SEC change coaches every 3 or 4 years. That is about it.

Meh, watched some of first half at Universal Studios. Glad I didn't watch the whole thing. Knew they'd lose.
