I believe the Youngkin movement in Virginia is reflective of what I honestly thought would happen last year.
Biden signaled what he would be as a President. He’s been exactly that. He ran on terrible policies and is implementing them through executive order.
Indies and some Dims in Virginia are just smart enough to realize that doubling down on this would only enhance the disaster.
And frankly, what do you expect Democrat politicians to do? They run on these radical agendas and then people vote for them. Of course they are going to try and implement their insane agenda.

And democrats know that, it was a mistake by tuberville for sure, but the vote means nothing. So why would they say otherwise? All they really accomplished tho was pissing off the far left...also known as the house who has members directly say defund. Lol. Lololololololol that you think if they were going to pass a bill that cut funding they would name it straightforward. I mean afterall they are currently trying to jam through deeply unpopular bill based solely on poorly worded polls....talk about nuance.

In other words: Congress would have to actually pass new laws in this upcoming fiscal year for these votes to matter.
My point being is if they were to cut funding as if they would actually introduce a bill called "defund the police". Lol, have you not learned anything. Like when they passed a "covid relief" bill in the spring without coming up with a way to pay for it...and the bill had nothing to do with covid.
