I remember going to a seminar years ago....think the speaker may have been the CEO of Intel....if not a CEO of a major computer manufacturer....that said that we'll come to a day when computers would be designing and making computers.

Of course I also remember a function that I went to at about the same time where Wayne Huizenga was the speaker...and he said that Blockbuster (videos) would be on every corner like a McD's ....and we know how that turned out.

I know three people in the last 6 weeks who have died from 'Corona'.

First one had been acting strange for about a month or more. Had had a shunt put in at the base of his brain probably 30 years ago. Fell a couple of times and was taken to the hospital. Tested and turned out negative. After about two weeks was sent to another hospital...tested positive. Diagnosed as having several strokes. Died about a week later.

Another....basically same story. Fell...taken to hospital...no covid....strokes. Put on Hospice and sent to nursing home. Tested positive. Died 3-4 days later.

This weekend the husband of a good friend of the Mrs died. Had been in the hospital for about a week. Had a bad heart and kidney cancer. Tested positive.

All died from Covid...officially. First guy was 69, second 92, and last about 65.

On a related note...the Mrs is in Seattle for an extended visit. Babysitting g'kids this week...so she's home alone in a strange house in a strange neighborhood and a strange city...but she knows full well what a dumpster fire Seattle is. Told me on the phone the other day that an old van with some homeless people parked across the street for about two days. Scared her to death to say the least. They finally left (one guy...a neighbor I assume...finally went out and just stood there for an hour or two watching them and they drove off). But what she couldn't understand was that people are constantly taking walks, walking their dogs, etc and they would just walk on by like it didn't bother them (high end neighborhood...houses aren't that great...small/old...but expensive). Told her to remember where she was at. People are used to the homeless encampments all over the city...and probably many of the neighbors are bleeding heart lib/Dems who approve of it.
