"own" =/= "keep and bear"

I even bolded and enlarged the word you messed up.

Now you really are beclowning yourself. You can't even READ.

So right after you claimed to be 'paraphrasing,' you then changed your mind and doubled down on the direct quote claim? You really are too much.

And you called ME a moron...LOL
I didn’t change my mind on anything. I did directly quote. In a post before the paraphrase. I even linked the post you numbskull.

Yes. He was wrong in what he did but, should every red blooded American have to suffer because of Ol' Timmy McVeigh?

But you make a strong point for my position. The fact that high explosive material such as that can be made by the common American and the fact that many of America's military including NG and AR would side with the people makes the left very uncomfortable when thinking about destroying the constitution which is why they want to take weapons away from the average Joe.
If by suffering you mean go through background checks and the like to purchase deadly weapons then yes. I think the ‘suffering’ of those people dealing with regulations is outweighed by the actual suffering inflicted by unvetted people with those weapons.

Unbelievable.

So what? That has nothing to do with the 'memorability' of said killings. The media is the controller of the information, and that's the real reason why you remember names like Columbine or Dylan Rooff.

I have a childhood friend. I let him and his twin brother (rip) go a long time ago. They both got into drugs and gangs. Both had been shot and one shot two people killing one. One was killed in an officer involved shooting. It was justified, he was armed with a revolver that they ordered him to drop. The other one just got released from a ten year prison sentence. I suspect he will either be dead or back in jail at some point. Our families are close. They had plenty of advantages growing up but chose that life. Except for the part of them having advantages, their story is unfortunately pretty common in certain areas throughout the country. There will always be a place in my heart for what once was.

I say all of that to say that while the media does indeed play a significant role in shaping our
memories, a shooting like that at Newtown where small innocent kids were slaughtered in minutes, SHOULD get more attention and SHOULD be burned into my mind more than my two childhood friends. They can’t call the police if someone tried to rob them of their drug stash. They have to take action themselves.

Its a shock to the conscience when people, innocent people who are just going to
School or attending a concert are slaughtered. Perhaps you’re right about the media but I think it SHOULD be that way.

Personally, I think Twitter is the absolute worst social media site on the web and left it a couple of years ago.

I left facebook a few years back...just found it unbelievably superficial...plus, there are so many people that you barely knew or didn't know from high school or college or some job you had 12 years ago that try to friend you and it annoyed me. I wasn't friends with you in real life, I don't want to see pictures of your family trip to Destin. I don't want to be your fake social media friend. So I'm no longer on facebook (I barely got on there when I had an account)...

Every couple months I look up the dozen or so people I actually care about from the past on my girlfriend's facebook or a friend's account when we are just hanging out...the problem with not being on facebook is that some strangers think your a serial killer. 4 or 5 years ago I was at this bar with my friend and me and this woman I never met before were really hitting it off...she thought everything I said was hilarious, I thought I was going to get laid that night and she said 'let me friend you on facebook' and when I told her I wasn't on facebook...the whole conversation changed, it was like she worried I was Ted Bundy now...she couldn't hide it 'who isn't on facebook?"...I didn't get to take her home that night and the downfall started when I disclosed I wasn't on facebook, my buddy thought it was so funny, he heard bits and pieces of the conversation and laughed at me and replayed my failed attempt as we got mcdonald's on the way home.

As for twitter...it might surprise you that I don't have an active account on twitter...they suspended me over a year ago...it was weird, I barely ever tweeted. I say more offensive things here, like nightb-tch84 is a b-tch.

I use twitter cause of the convenience factor, the one social media that political journalists seem to favor the most is twitter...I can go through the news of the day so quick on twitter. I don't like the people running the place, but it's not like I'm paying them to use their site so...for me it is the most convenient way to see all the day's news. Also had some drinks a little early today like my brother 55, also free 55.

Posting this again. Remember the "I can't breathe" guy? He died bc of frivolous tobacco laws. Here's the problem with big govt in a nutshell. Lib politician makes law, police enforce law, call police racist for doing what you told them to. Rinse repeat.

They did it with marijuana for years. Stand on the sidelines and cry about enforcement.

All they have to do is vote. Of course that carries risk and might result in them pursuing actual employment

False, these types of incidents are not normal or even a fraction of the percentage of the crimes committed by other people in this country who are not being prosecuted for their crimes these days. He got what was coming to him and you don't see it happening again so far. When you start knee jerk reactions by infringing on American rights because of isolated incidents you will quickly run out of rights.

You have to be the dumbest POS on this board and that says a lot. What does soccer have to do with relatives that died in war? Not one ****ing thing. In America you are free to do whatever the **** you want, including not singing some song or worshipping a flag. And when you dominate like Rapinoe you can just laugh at losers like you crying on a message board.

Went on Fakebook about 5 years ago for a few months with my wife. Was not long before old girlfriends were trying to befriend me. Wife got rid of Fakebook all together. Not on anything else other than here now.

Anybody who blindly trusts the people mandating vaccines needs to re-examine their beliefs. They’re being lied to. At the beginning I questioned those who said it was all about control but after a year and a half into this that’s exactly what it is.

Happy that Italy seems to be coming around maybe? Sadly we still have those in this country with their eyes closed.

He mislead (lied) again:

"State legislators in Texas make $600 per month, or $7,200 per year, plus a per diem of $221 for every day the Legislature is in session (also including any special sessions). That adds up to $38,140 a year for a regular session (140 days)"
$600 a month? no wonder they took their own beer on the plane.

Hot dam. You are really reaching with that one. You should just stop. You are making a fool of yourself.
So he doesn’t have that right? Maybe you should enlighten us all as to exactly which arms the Constitution gives us the right to bear.

Wow! $221 a day per diem? That is crazy.

Is Per Diem taxable? It has been years since I drew Per Diem, but I do not think it was taxed.

Please give me that deal all day long.

edit: If the per diem is not taxable, would the end result be around $50k for the 140 days?

Gas Dropped 30 cents today. Lumber futures took a huge dive. Thanks Biden for dick punching that inflation! He just never stops getting shit done.
Bill Barr now says their was no election fraud. We just can't stop winning!
To quite the great Bill “We realized from the beginning it was just bullshit,”

He told Karl that even if the machines had somehow changed the tally, the issue would be made obvious when the votes were recounted by hand.

“It’s a counting machine, and they save everything that was counted,” Barr said. “So you just reconcile the two. There had been no discrepancy reported anywhere, and I’m still not aware of any discrepancy.”

Thanks, Joe!

All arms? Ol' Timmy McVeigh had a constitutional right to his fertilizer truck bomb just like every red-blooded American should?
Umm, yes. Like it or not, people have the right to concoct almost anything they want (trebuchet, airplane, etc). However, people do not have the right to use in a way to deny anyone else their life, liberty or property. We call that "crime". Another straw man down ...

(NOTE: I'm not making any statements one way or the other ... other than denying others life, liberty or property is a crime. What he ended up doing was wrong. As warrior stated, if we give in to all knee-jerk reactions by gov't, then soon we would have no rights whatsoever.)
