Plat was completely off as usual with that post. The right to bear arms (guns of any kind) was ours already. The second Amendment protects that right. Plus, every state still has militia's and they are growing exponentially these days. I know some people who have been rejected because of their inability to do the training (yes training) lately but, were put on the militia's roster for support of supplies and firepower if things were ever to happen in their area.

Lost in this stupid nuke argument or whatever is the fact that you don’t take over the federal government..,,you take local and state. You’ve see the effectiveness of this during the past year especially...We’ve seen many states say “f u, feds, we’re not shuttering our state to appease you”. That’s one very significant example, because life in a free state was very different for those Americans who had elected officials stand up for them.
Another example of local government at work...many counties, territories, and I believe whole states are 2A sanctuaries now. Meaning, they only follow the 2A, not whatever dumb new gun rule the feds just made up that is in direct violation of the 2A.

They should have kicked her off the team if her sole reason for going wasn't to try and win a medal and represent her country with class. I'd rather not win a medal then to have someone disrespect the country on the podium like she will inevitably do.
