Wow. mccloskey seems perfectly ok with the outcome—pleads guilty to a lesser charge, $750 fine, wife also fined, their weapons seized and to be destroyed? then he says “it’s what the 2d amendment is all about.”
Private citizen on his private property, which is posted and gated, defending himself and property, and he’s the criminal? and he’s ok with it? what kind of lawyer is he? headscratcher.

i just don’t understand how he just bends over and takes it, seemingly without protest, especially since he’s a lawyer.
Plus you have to remember he's running for political office now (Senate I believe), so he HAS to do and say things to get the college educated, white, 'burb moms.

Perhaps it is a front because he knows the system right now is rigged. I wonder what would have happened if they just stayed in the house and some of those thugs tried to bust in. If they shoot do they go to prison? Liberals here would say they should. They would rather you just give up your life and possessions and let those poor victimized thugs have it all.

These are the men today's culture wants to cancel out.

@KyFaninNC .... ever heard why the Lt Gov of N.C. (Repub) decided not to run for Gov (who is a Dem)?
Think I've got it right.
Would think that after Covid shutdown, etc...and that N.C. is still a Repub state that he could win if he ran.
Waiting for something bigger...Senate maybe?
The guy's quite a speaker.

They weren't there for a birthday cake for a nephew. They were there for a wedding cake for them. Which he refused to make.
Dion Dong. You said they were reused service strictly because they were gay. I said that’s not true and gave you a scenario in which shows their being gay wasn’t the reason, but their particular opinion on a matter was.

I saw a CBS news clip or something about how ivy league women with actual degrees in something real like computer science were going in to trades because they didn't want to sit behind a desk at a computer all day in an office.

The spin was ofcourse, how do we stop misogynist white supremacists from keeping women of colour from these in demand high paying jobs?

Not sure what Marks plans are, but he will go far. NC is more red than blue, but as usual, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Asheville are blue havens.

What is hilarious to watch is the media not sure what to do about him, since he is black. Mark is like Trump without the Twitter nonsense.

Another example of why libs want crt in the first place, so they can brainwash kids early. Otherwise they'll grow up to succeed and see oppression for the nonsense it is.

Libs just buy anything Abrams says

Clay travis really is amazing. Such an unlikable a$$hat of mediocre intelligence. Yet he easily destroys the left with just basic common sense.

Even more amazing is the notion that basic common sense and fairness is now "alt right"

They took the sure thing and got rid of an albatross. I don't blame them at all, especially given the alternative was to leave it in the hands of 12 likely politically charged jurors.

The governor should've pardoned them though, because the whole thing was ridiculous.

Imo his best move is us Congress. He'd shine there the same way he shines as Lt governor, because it's mostly speaking and he's an incredible orator. A run for governor would bore or bog down someone like him with daily governance.

'Gun-maker Smith & Wesson Brands Inc. reported sales soared 67% from a year ago to a record of almost $323 million. The company raised its quarterly dividend by 60% to 8 cents per share and announced a new $50 million share buyback program. '

I agree. We need him on the national stage. He would be a leader in the House. North Carolina may have picked up an extra house seat. If so maybe they can create a spot in his area of the state. Or if his district is now controlled by Democrats he can knock one off. Just get him in D.C.

Yeap, but not good ole Kentucky. That's what we get here in the commonwealth when we elect a rotten, little racist, democrat excuse for a governor. Any body like Beshear that every decision he makes is based on skin color, is a racist. Thankfully we'll just have to put up with him for 1 term.
Wow! What a description.

Now describe Bevin.

1) As soon as State Farm Arena was identified as a polling place late last summer, I was concerned.

2) As soon as the water main break was announced on election night (and voting hours were extended) I was really concerned.

3) As soon as it was announced that Fulton County was suspending counting for the night (which actually didn’t happen), I knew the fix was in.

Professor says something one person finds offensive... we have issues. Yet we literally have parades this month with grown ass men and women walking around with assless chaps or in some cases no pants at all exposing their genitalia to everyone. But that’s not considered offensive.

Not to mention young kids being brought to these events by their deranged care takers and told to clap for the guy on his knees with a choke collar wearing nothing but a sock... and yet the parents that won’t inject their children with hormones are the true abusers.

The thing about finding something offensive is it is subject and on an individual level. You can’t play by these rules... but that’s by design. Make the rules vague enough and you can have your desired outcome of any situation.

Man... You sure were slow on the uptake. I knew the fix was in when they totally changed how voting was going to be done and sent out mail in ballots to cats.

Interesting the "independent/apolitical" view matches liberal view. Of course we knew that to be the case on this board, but interesting to see it's nationwide that liberals either consider or portray themselves as independent.
Lol didn’t that used to be a running joke here? “I’m an independent. I voted for Gary Johnson. I’d vote for Kasich” ?

Lefties pretend to be independent to portray themselves as impartial when they’re always to the left. Always. I have never seen an independent who leaned right. It always aligns with the left, magically.

The left is so batshit crazy, how could one be independent and align with them? Lol
