Going to be cold some snow flying, Hoosiers a 7 - 7.5 point dog, I think Notre Dame wins and covers but pulling for Indiana
Indiana the D1 school with the most loses in all of football made the playoffs, if they can KY can if all the stars align one day.
I’m figuring ND running game will secure the win in a high scoring game. I like ND and the over. 34-21 type of game.Wanting to bet the game but not sure how to go. USC's backup QB burned ND in a loss and IU QB is better but weather a tad of a concern
Indiana only beat one team with a winning record this year whereas UK played four top ten preseason teams. Indiana would’ve only won 6 or 7 games with our schedule.Indiana the D1 school with the most loses in all of football made the playoffs, if they can KY can if all the stars align one day.
We have no chance of playing a crap schedule like they did.Indiana the D1 school with the most loses in all of football made the playoffs, if they can KY can if all the stars align one day.
All that is true, but if we were playing Indiana tonight they would beat our arseIndiana only beat one team with a winning record this year whereas UK played four top ten preseason teams. Indiana would’ve only won 6 or 7 games with our schedule.
Did Indiana play a single top 30 team this season?IU this year is one of the great sports stories of last 20-30 years.
Very Rudy like feels, but for an entire program/university and fan base.
Two Indiana teams playing one another as two of the top 16 teams in CFB, in the state of IU is something unique as well.
Not two Texas teams in lone star state. Not two bama teams, California teams, Florida teams, etc…
Did Indiana play a single top 30 team this season?
Playoff would have to expand to 103 for us to get in right now.Expanded playoff to 16 or 24 Teams would help that the most to occur.
Did Indiana play a single top 30 team this season?
so, no they didn't ?They played with a MAC QB, James Madison talent, a new head coach in a "P2"
Two of the teams they played were in the title game last year.
Alabama running through IU's schedule, not so impressive. IU running through their schedule in the context of their program, talent, depth or lack thereof compared to a lot if not most P2s/P4s... impressive.
so, no they didn't ?
No were in my post did I say IU sucked. You're right. IU sucked this year. We should be crowned for our top SOS. Talent all across the nation looked at all that winning and scoring IU did and thought "nah...f8ck that. I want to play somewhere that gets their fudge packed like kid diddler on D block."
I'd rather impressively win 99% of my games and end up in the post season than get dog walked most games and end up watching all the bowls this time of year.
IU cannot do anything about their schedule.
This schedule fetish around here and amongst the general SEC fan bases is getting out of hand.
That top 5 SOS did absolutely dick for us. All it accomplished was stalling and reversing any momentum Mark Stoops had in terms of where he was going with the program.
It didn't do shit for the SEC teams that got left out either.
No were in my post did I say IU sucked.
But do you sincerely believe if they had played in the SEC they would be in the playoff picture?
Hate ND
But Don't believe IU should be here. UscJr is a better team and I don't believe IU would finish 9-3 with their schedule.
Get that butIt's not the SEC championship. It's the playoffs for the national championship. That means teams from all over.
How many March Madness runs, and titles are you willing to put an asterisk by in basketball? Up until very recently SEC was pretty much cake walk city, especially for an elite blue blood. I don't recall a whole lot of fans saying "guys, we really should really look at this differently. We didn't come out of the big east or ACC. We dog walked over football schools who couldn't find the basketball gym with a map on a guided tour."
No... it's a national tournament with teams from all over. Some had easy roads, some had hard roads. Some play this style; some play that style.
It would depend on which SEC teams they get on their schedule. Would they have the same schedule as Texas? Then they would have a shot. Florida's schedule? Probably not.Get that but
This was his question

Hell no!! Wouldn’t have finished over .500. Alabama should be in instead of weak ass iu.No were in my post did I say IU sucked.

Not sure how true but heard 30-35% of OSU- UT tickets were bought by Tennessee Fans. ND with a huge pick near the goal lineND home game full stadium, very few IU fans able to get tickets. The visiting teams should get a sizeable amounts of tickets IMO, at all playoff ganes.
