How? Also, one might think we have the biggest gap between offensive and defensive officiency, but au contraire mon frere, it's Alabama. 1st in offense, 104th in defense. Actually, that may not be the biggest gap but of the teams in the top 50 or so I think it is. We are 7th and 96th.

The ranking dropped but the actual efficiency number didn't really. We were 122.7 yesterday and are 122.6 as of now. That means we score 0.1 fewer points per 100 possessions now than we did yesterday. Inconsequential. The drop was only due to other teams having good offensive games.

It's all based on where we are at offensively and where Arkansas was defensively. So while we put up 1.28 points per possession tonight, we might have been predicted to have scored more and thus went down.

FWIW we only went from 122.7 to 122.6. So we are talking .001 points per poss lol. Not a big deal. We basically did as expected on offense.

Conversely, our defense went down again. Not good. We went from like 82nd to 96th

Overall our EM (efficiency margin) went down -0.35. That's what happens when u are predicted to win by 15 and only win by 9.

This is why we are in the 15-20 range and sitting outside your "contending" teams.
