Thank you God for that bounce in 3 from Willis. Needed that now just need to get a stop here with under 4 left to feel really good.
Surprised no foul on us was called.
No offense to Ball and Leaf, Williams is the best player we have played.
Willis and Hawkins have been the best players in blue today.
Why am I dressed in a #33 TAMU uniform and playing in this game? I look awful out there.
Not at all. They're in the right spots, but have no matchup for the big Williams kid so long as Bam has to deal with two bigs, and can't hit open shots.
There's only so much you can do in that situation, and it should make us aware that this team can go down in the tournament, even if they're playing smart + hard for long stretches.. they still have the ability to miss 15 wide open shots (which they worked hard for) in 20 possessions and drop to any team that can walk and chew gum at the same time.
If by best you mean athletic then I agree. But if by best you mean skills then no it's not even close it's Leaf by miles and miles as well as Ball
Hoping Cal will show Monk after this game just how much more effective he is when he's moving to get open, rather than standing around. Tbh, his shot has been off though.

Usually I'd agree, and it wasn't an absolute end of the shot clock, but time was winding down. Could have driven in a step for a closer shot, but not a ton of time to keep working the ball around.
