2019When’s the last time KY beat a legit power 5 opponent in the Big Dance? Houston 2017?
Things are bad, but may get a lot worse.Just another embarrassing statistic, nothing to see here folks. I'm sure Bass, JC and Dubya will be here soon to explain this one away.
If the SEC is so weak, how do you explain Kentucky’s 11-22 record in our last 33 games against ranked teams? This is dumb. You go by percentage but even then we're ranked #10.
Plus the B12 schools play around 10 games a year against ranked opponents. Iowa St. 106 games with a 39% winning percentage winning 42. If UK played that many games with their subpar 51% record they'd have just above 53 wins, placing them in a tie for 4th
All this chart shows is how weak the SEC has been over the past 10 years (since 2012). It's why UK has only 81 games versus ranked opponents.
UK 81 games, 41-40, 50.6%
1. KU - 115 games, 74- 41, 64.4%
2. DUKE - 88 games, 57-31 64.8%
3. MICH ST. 104 games, 56-48 53.9%
4. NOVA - 83 games, 53-30, 63.9 %
5. BAYLOR - 106, 54-52, 50.9 %
6. UNC - 103, 49-54, 47.6 %
7. MICH- 100, 48-52, 48%
8. WISC - 97, 47-50, 48.5%
9. OU - 105, 43-62, 41%
10. IOWA ST. - 106, 42-64, 39.6%

For context the second best team is UT who played 66 games against ranked opponents in this span going 26-40.
Shoot if you ignore KU and UK the average ranked teams played by conference would be around 100 for the B12 and 50 for the SEC. If that doesn't show weakness idk what does.
That logic doesn't make sense. It can be both. We're both 11-22 and the SEC plays 50% fewer games against ranked opponents than the B12.If the SEC is so weak, how do you explain Kentucky’s 11-22 record in our last 33 games against ranked teams?
Exactly. It is both, so stop making excuses. That logic doesn't make sense. It can be both. We're both 11-22 and the SEC plays 50% fewer games against ranked opponents than the B12.
What I said wasn't an excuse though. The post in question wasn't being reviewed fairly. A better argument would be to use the past 5 years where we've fallen off a cliff.Exactly. It is both, so stop making excuses.
You're correct, that would be a handful of wins. Percentage wise we're higher than of those teams on the list. It's about context. All we have to do is be .500 in those 33 games, instead of .333, and we’re firmly inside this list. We aren’t on this list because we are on a downward spiral over the last seven years. Spin it however you want, but the SEC isn’t to blame for where we are as a program right now.
The trend is that he had a lot of key experience those first 3 years along with some outstanding recruits.begok has other, more important, priorities than wins at UK.
nba draftees, social activism, kneeling, bloating his ego--
begok will NEVER again reach a ncaaT final four at UK.
26-4 first 3 seasons against ranked teams. 86.7% wins
41-37 last 10 seasons against ranked teams. 52.6% wins
The "TREND" is obvious, and pathetic.

Still contend that they get the most favorable whistle I’ve ever seen but yes that is pretty amazing they have played that many and won so many. This graphic kind of blows away the falsehood of Kansas always having a cakewalk in the B12 and their schedule in general. Them being at the top by almost 20 more than the 2nd highest is very impressive.
Typical Cal nut nipper ignoring data. Keep trying cabana boy.Typical underbelly hater. Covering up data, no substance
We’re barely 50% against the Top 25. Try again.SEC hasn’t had teams ranked as much in the last 10 years. It limits the number of games they played against top 25 teams.
I like “Cal Crybaby Crusade” better, but to each his own.
If the SEC is so weak, how do you explain Kentucky’s 11-22 record in our last 33 games against ranked teams?
Another hater obsessed with Cal’s gonads. You like this with all men or just Cal? Not judging, asking for a friend.Typical
