Most of the early US Presidents owned slaves. Even Grant owned one prior to the war who he freed in 1857.
Out of control health care costs
Opiod crises, methamphetamine
Lack of work ethic in the country exacerbated by social policies
Islamic extremism
Nuclear proliferation
Long term expansionist goals by the Chinese
Aging population
And we're consumed by a bunch of statues that have been up for a hundred years or more????
Yep.....it would be great if people were as passionate about these issues as they are ****BLEEPING**** statues and flags......
Looks like a list of Trump campaign issues. PEOPLE DO CARE! These issues are among the MAIN REASONS Trump was elected! And he has been addressing them and trying to make progress. It's the god dammed lunatic left and anti-Trump establishment RINOS that have been obstructing and preventing getting anything done.
The left war room started this statue BULLSHIT. It's part of their "resistance" against Trump. The Russia bullshit failed miserably, now they've fallen back to their go to attack, RACISM. Hey left, GFY.
Aside from a very small group of morons, Trump supporters are decent people who care deeply about our country. Of course you wouldn't know it from watching the POS MSM. We're all Nazis. GFY.
You fence sitters better wake up. Trump is the first non-establishment president we've had, at least in my lifetime. You may not like his sometimes unpolished delivery, but the man does represent positive change and I honestly believe he cares about the people of our country. If he is somehow forced out, it's not going to be pretty. This may be our last chance for real change.
The Donald is in over his head. This isn't like developing real estate, and whether or not he believes it, he really isn't the boss where his say is the final say. That said, I hope he isn't forced out or resigns on his own. Never want to see that from any sitting president. The best thing that could ever happen is for us to start erasing the (D) and (R) beside of the names so people can start working together on issues without fear of reprisal from their nitwit constituents and/or corporate masters . I realize that will upset the numbskulls who go to the voting booth looking for that (D) or (R) to to pull the lever for, but they'll just have to get used to it or not vote at all, which might not be a bad thing either.

Yep. Politics are a weird game. You and I, JD, are obviously centrist moderates who can see valid points on both sides, but in the land of hardcore right-wingers we're "libtards," "leftists," "cucks," "unAmerican," "commies" "socialists," etc.
I don't think all conservatives are sexist, racist, nationalists, fascists, etc. But many I know think all liberals are bad. Both sides have their good and bad. If we could stop hating each other for a minute and realize we ALL want a better damn life, we might get somewhere.
Until then it's #TrumpTrain vs. #NeverTrump and we'll yell in circles for 3.5 more years.

Sorry, but you are wrong including nationalist in that group. You go anywhere around the world and most people will defend their nationality but, here in America we are trying to erase ours. We want to be anything other than American. African-American, born here then nope. Mexican-American, born here then nope. Chinese, Japanese, Irish, Scottish, Italian, French, and the list goes on. IF YOU WERE BORN HERE IN AMERICA THEN, YOU ARE AMERICAN. If you identify as other then please go to the other place that your are loyal to. For a country that is so bad, there are millions that want to come here.Yep. Politics are a weird game. Yeah, I sometimes (more often than most know) try to be funny on here.

Great question. I am curious to see the answer to that one...I consider myself fair minded and objective, although not always fully informed. What points that you like currently coming from the left that Trump is clearly against are you seeing? Just curious.

I consider myself the same. Unless its sports. I lose my objectivity there.
Things the Trump administration disagrees with I support. It's not the whole list, but the big ones:
Legalization of recreational marijuana. This was a "state's rights" issue which Republicans (and me) usually applaud. (I don't think the individual states should mandate civil rights, but everything else is fair game.) Legal recreational pot passed in several states. Worthless AG wants to go after them under federal law. (Jeff Sessions can't die fast enough and I hope it's painful. I know that's hateful, but F that guy. Seriously. He's a relic from the 1950s that shouldn't be anywhere near our government.)
The law and order talk. We already live in a police state. I don't want it to get worse. I know the GOP and private prison industry are pals, but incarceration isn't the answer for non-violent drug crime. We have people serving longer sentences for drug possession than "white collar criminals" convicted of duping innocent people out of millions of dollars. That seems wrong to me.There's also a disproportionate minority inmate population and a lot of it is thanks to the harsh Reagan-era mandatory minimums (5g crack = 500g cocaine, mandatory 10 years. It's literally the same shit with added baking soda or B12 to make crack) that treated drug crime as equal to violent/sex crime. Essentially, I support a full on reform of our justice system. Some Republicans like Sen. Rand Paul, who I voted for BTW, agree with me on this issue.
LGBT in the military: If they're willing to serve, let them - even the weird ones. It's a volunteer force. If an LGBT applicant can complete all the physical tests required of them, what's the big deal?
Rolling back environmental protections that let, for example, coal companies dump their waste in public waterways. Basically, in my opinion, the GOP oftentimes doesn't care about the earth as long as someone somewhere can profit from relaxed regulations (or no regs at all) that allow them to pollute our air and water in the name of money.
Attempting to abolish the Johnson Amendment that bars nonprofits - especially churches - from endorsing political candidates. I get it. This helps the GOP because they got the evangelicals on lock, but I think if the pastor is up there endorsing a candidate - no matter the party - his/her church should pay taxes.
In fairness, the things the Trump administration has done so far I like:
Tightening immigration, increasing deportation of illegals.
Killing two old regulations with every new one.
Withdrawing from TPP.
Travel ban (even though I would like to see Saudi Arabia on top of that list)
Banning WH officials from lobbying on behalf or foreign governments.
Hiring Gen. Kelly to bring order to the chaos.
Getting rid of Bannon. Dude's no good.
Thanks for engaging civilly without the name calling.
There's no doubt this stuff is Soros, bought and paid for. But these clowns are taking pages out of Saul Alinsky's playbook.
Again, those that consider themselves center or left or right of it: DONT FALL FOR THESE TACTICS! Don't be foolish and let puppet masters control your thinking.
Call out groups on both sides that are pure evil.
Rupp was racist so shouldnt we tear down Rupp and build a new arena?
Just as every other president since RR has been over his head. Especially the last one.The Donald is in over his head. .
Agree with this. It's hard enough to figure out how all Americans can have better lives without constantly taking political sides. However, there are some difficult, deep-rooted philosophical issues that stand in the way, even if our leaders wanted to work together.I don't think all conservatives are sexist, racist, nationalists, fascists, etc. But many I know think all liberals are bad. Both sides have their good and bad. If we could stop hating each other for a minute and realize we ALL want a better damn life, we might get somewhere.

I tell ya, having the whole MSM and 3/4 of the hill trying to stab you in the back 24/7 can't make it any easier to get shit done.Just as every other president since RR has been over his head. Especially the last one.
Yeah, I don't think Trump is in over his head. He is just the only president i can recall, that is being obstructed by his own party.Just as every other president since RR has been over his head. Especially the last one.

I knew Trump's election shook the Dems, the media, and the Deep State.
Shocked how much it shook Republican's. They were built to argue with White House not cooperate. McConnell and Ryan need ousting.
