Reminded me of this. Still love to this day:
Wonder if Stanford has facial recognition of a beaten-down married dude? The following are facts:
Coincidence? Draw your own conclusions.
- Apple CEO Tim Cook is gay -- not, as always, that there's anything wrong with that
- According to today's Washington Post, Stanford researchers have developed an algorithm which uses facial recognition to accurately predict sexual orientation
- Apple has abandoned fingerprint identification in favor of automatic facial identification (Face ID) to unlock the newly launched iPhone X
Any new weiner emojis on the iGayPhone? When that thing spits out "you a gay", well, let's just see what plays out then, phone. And EAD Tim Cook, though you were already planning on that.
I'm legally bound to not confirm or deny, but I will say that I recently received a nice little check for a "modeling" gig I did for a school out west.Wonder if Stanford has facial recognition of a beaten-down married dude?

Coffee, like surfing, is the source -- it'll change your life.maybe I should try this coffee someday.
Oh, good grief, that really blows. Can't believe an EHR system is going to replace skilled nursing. Hopefully your wife remains in the organization.Sad times are coming my way again. My wife was told to expect a lay off notice next week. Her manager, asst. manager and a company VP wanted to keep her, but her name still ended up on the chopping block. The VP has supposedly directed HR to find her another job within the organization.
The hospital is supposed to be in the process of implementing a new electronic health record system and they are about to cut half the staff that support those applications.
My mind is spinning.
Sorry man. Be cool... it will work out.I guess I should clarify, she is part of the nursing informatics (NI) group. She trains everyone in the hospital how to use the ehr, others in her group do a lot of IT support (writing reports, making changes, etc.. to the current ehr). The NI group and IT group are together. She has learned how to do hard reboots on servers and helped with a lot of IT support (because she is one of the few in the group that can talk to people).
She would prefer to be back in clinical practice, but that has remained elusive.
You and I may have discussed this during my visit to IA back in April. Is the EHR system by Cerner? As far as EHR goes, we have many RNs who manage the administrative side of it. If the VP has asked HR to keep her, then hopefully she stays.I guess I should clarify, she is part of the nursing informatics (NI) group. Thanks Kook. That means a lot, cause I know you've been through some uncertain times.Sorry man. Be cool... it will work out.
Epic actually. As you know it's either Epic or Cerner. She has experience with both. You and I may have discussed this during my visit to IA back in April. Is the EHR system by Cerner? Best of luck. I truly hope it works out.
So she talks to customers so the engineers won't have to. Got it.I guess I should clarify, she is part of the nursing informatics (NI) group.
