Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach was hospitalized on Sunday with what the school described as a "personal health issue."

There is a local hospital in Starkville and he was taken 128 miles away to UM Hospital in Jackson? Interesting.
Uh it sounds very very bad. The transfer was allegedly because he had a severe neurological event. Might be a debilitating stroke.
I don't know if I buy that rumor. Why would have yet to announce and put MSU in such a bad spot as far as hiring a new HC?
If Leach was going to retire, I would think that they already have the coach in waiting in Arnett.
It was on several boards he was going to step down for health reasons around the time UGA played them. Of course rumors are just that, but he didn't look healthy this year, at least to me he didnt.
I love the guy. He is just genuine and puts himself out there. He is a great coach. Get well coach.

Very sad. That tweet by Robbie Faulk is disturbing. He apparently is very close to Leach. Needing a miracle is a pretty clear statement from someone in the know.
According to reports,things are not looking good for coach Leach. Really hope the best for him and his family.

That effing sucks. As someone who struggled and struggles with taking care of himself. Your health is important. Take care of yourself and if a job is too much step away.
