My personal views nor anyone else's on a particular herb being illegal or legal isn't the issue here. I don't see any real issues with it if someone chooses to use it in their homes, at a friends house or anywhere else it won't have any bearing on anyone else, the same position I have on alcohol. It's when they decide to do something that can and has had an effect on someone else such as driving a vehicle. I don't know your position on the herb having an effect on that but mine is it does and if it doesn't why want to use it if he has no effect. But that isn't the issue, the issue now and in the state of Kentucky and Georgia too is it's illegal, even in states it's legal my understanding is you have to have a license and an address plus the herb has to carry some kind of stamp much like tobacco products do, you can't be walking around with a case full of said herb stuffed in baggies. I may be misinformed on this particular case, but my understanding is he was doing something alone those lines, which is against the law in states who have made said herb legal.
That isn't saying he is a hardcore drug dealer, it's saying what he has been accused of doing is illegal everywhere, not just in the states who have passed laws allowing the sell of this particular herb. Should it be legal nationwide is another issue, personally I don't have an issue with it being legal, it's my choice just like it is with alcohol to decide if i want to use. I wouldn't myself, not because I am some holy roller or prude, but because I don't like being in a room full of smoke. I have no problem sitting in front of my computer sipping on a tall glass of rum and do quite often. But once I take that first sip, I am in house for the night, I don't drink anywhere other than where I am spending the night, my house, my lady friend's house or my hunting cabin/
