Louisville This Rick Pitino That

Completely accurate. These quotes were part of Blackshear's pre-NBA Summer League experience, where he was trying to explain why he didn't live up to his high school hype, where he also declared "I'm going to make an NBA roster". When he got the opportunity to "show what he could do" for the Spurs in the NBA summer league, he didn't show much...averaging 3.5 points and 1.2 rebounds. He simply never lived up to his high school hype, and got all the playing time he needed his entire Louisville career to show what he could do. I don't believe that would have changed if he had played anywhere else, for anybody else.
He couldnt lift his hands above his shoulders because of injury. Many people don't know that.

To me it means using the University as your personal slush fund to give unheard of high level payoffs to cronies and stooges. :fistbump:

That's the great thing about thowin' yo L's up and yellin' L1CFo... it encompasses the whole university, not just sports.

LOUISVILLE is the 1ST Commonwealths F..ckup

No offense but I have better things to do with my time than to go back and watch the Draft.
Better things - like coming back again and again to argue a point, while carefully ignoring the video evidence that determines the truth beyond any doubt?

That combined with stating that you put your trust in some reporter, no matter what he says, makes you sound like somebody with stockholm syndrome or a loyal member of a cult where some dude is telling you about the date of the rapture and what type of underwear to put on in the morning.

This is not a UK vs UL thing. UK-favoring reporters are wrong all the time. Cal says stuff that doesn't make any sense at times. This is about not being a lemming. This time, your camp is putting up some hilarious propaganda attempts to fight a perception that is absolutely true, and you're unwilling to concede it for some bizarre reason.

Do we know why he was the only kid to that point who wasn't wearing his school jersey? No.
Does that give us concrete evidence that he loves his school less than other kids? No. It was more of a funny bit to throw in there.
But was the "Adidas kids" explanation demonstrably false? Yes. Yes it was.

If that's true, then your dumbass coach didn't do a very good job of placing a player's future ahead of a few wins did he? If he couldn't raise his arms above his shoulder he shouldn't have been playing.

But seriously. If they are lying about it on Deener's show and that is the spin they came up with that tells me they don't have a reason that they can share in public. CLEARLY, because video proof suggests that EVERY OTHER player in the draft but Rozier proudly displayed their college team uniform...yet Rozier wears the NBA Draft combine uniform instead. He clearly would have a suitcase full of LilBro gear to throw on. He CHOSE not to wear LilBro stuff....that is clear. And the ridiculous propaganda Deener apparently threw out there and that I have posted above, is provably false.

Had there been a "reasonable" explanation to the contrary such as he lost his suitcase and they had to video that segment right that second...... then that would have been the reason offered. Lacking that...I think we all know that the rumblings around town from insiders with the program, that Pitino detesting Rozier/Harrell and vice versa....well that builds up the credibility of the only explanation that makes any sense.

From "I couldn't do what John does, coaching players for one year and then saying goodbye" to bringing in two guys with one year of eligibility and this is the best group of kids I've ever had.
SEXtino is a real piece of work.I hung around team when he was at UK(former Manager for Bill Keightley) some of the things he would say were unbelievable..Tubby coming back to Lexington after retiring next year..He still has his House.

You must post this at the line beard site

What always got me about Pitinos is his line 'I meant it at the time I said it'. That could change in a matter of minutes.

In all seriousness though, Puerto Rico's junior squad just beat a team with "8 future NBA players"! Hell, send their A-team to the NBA. They'd run roughshod over all the competition. Lebron who? [winking]

Cmon guys. Really?
Everyone knows that B team is the Best team. That is what the "B" stands for... Actually, it is really the Bestest, Best team ever, ever.
Honest, just ask Rick.

There's no way to spin this, it's horrendous. Puerto Rico is awful, so any "B" team of that is like a group of us getting together and hooping it up.

I don't care if this was UL 2nd string (it wasn't), no way you lose to any PR team.
