Lot of the very best recruits each year make the wrong decision. They gamble because of a favorite uncle, a guaranteed position, fringe benefits off the court, etc. I bet a lot of them eventually ask themselves what it would have been like at the best of the best programs.
I also replied I said it wrong! I then said I heard an interview where he said his Mother, sister, and Father were really impressed with dook, or something like that. The interview's are easy to find! I did not mean to offend you, or anyone, like SEVERAL on here do. I still, IMO think his choice will be dooke, I hope not!!

People on this board give Colin Cowherd grief, and for good reason; the man is a first class tool that gins up clicks / viewers / listeners by outlandishly untrue things attributed to "secret sources". What most of us don't realize is that Jones is just a local yokel version of Cowherd.
- Jones sees that the wind is blowing towards Bamba @ UK.
- Jones recognizes an opportunity for clicks and listeners if he floats a "source" that runs against the grain.
- He literally has no idea if it is true or not. No Idea.
- If he's proven right, he looks like a genius. If he's wrong, no one cares because we got Bamba, and he can pull the 'ol "I'm sure glad I was wrong" bit.
- Either way, he get's revenue. What's can not be stated enough is that he has no real affection for the UK program or its fans. He just piggybacks on the loyalty of the fan base to generate ads. Never forget get this fact.

Exposed years ago? Don't know what that means. I guess you're referring to Maggard since that's what everyone brings up on here, over and over. I think he's gotten a lot bigger over the years and I'm sure he's made some friends in the recruiting business considering they're on his show all the time. Plus, I would consider people around the program as the best sources that exist. Those are really the people closest to the recruits. That's where most of the recruiting "experts" try to get their source from anyways. The recruits don't tell those experts anything really truthful or revealing cause they know it's going straight to a tweet or on a website. They just tell them how great each school is and blah, blah, blah. The real sources are the ones closest to the program. Nobody except the family knows for sure what a recruit will do and they likely aren't talking, the next best thing would be the sources closest to the program and it's obvious that MJ has those kind of sources.
He's the first one that I'm looking to for recruiting and I'd say I'd probably be right most of the time. I'd put his info up against anyone's.

The irritation you show from the comments on this board reflect the IMPORTANCE of Rupp's Rafters. We are the ULTIMATE authority on UK Athletics and UK Basketball in particular. If I were you I would try to use the constructive criticism you receive as a compliment to your successful radio show.
