I hate to say this but Duke is now as UK was in 2009. The premier destination for top players. And it sucks.

Don’t know, but he sure lost one of the best young recruiters out there today.
Whatever. Shy Guy has zero coaching experience…none. Lucas is a Gator anyway and coached at UK for 1 Fin year and got 2 or 3 low tier 5 stars to come to Ky. Sheyer got the top 3 to come to Duke not Lucas.
We can and will do better.
If he wants to bolt to Durham with an unproven coach that is replacing a legend then so be it.

No way Collins or Wallace goes to Duke with Roach back and the top 3 recruits in the country and another in the top 20 unless they want to ride pine.

It sure looks like it, and unlike UK, they hardly do anything with the talent. One Final four since this shift really started happening. K could not even get Zion to the Final Four.
As others have said, you get the top players you will win games though, but as we know, you have to have experience back around them.
Lucas didn’t want to play here and and didn’t want to stay here as a coach. I guess he wanted to be a choirboy.
