-Meh, it was actually like 4 reservations, not one. They were just cool enough to move us into a few tables around each other rather than spread all over the place. I don't really blame them for the tabs. Completely different than Public House where it was 30 people in a bar drinking and they just lumped a corner of people into a tab and wouldn't allow multiple cards on a tab. I hate huge dinners but that was a flipping blast. STK is the perfect place for a group like that.

-Funny thing about SAE's comment is how wrong he is about the demographic that attends these events. It's not even close to the wine and cheese crowd. It's the fun, partying, hard working UK fan that doesn't have season tickets and largely blue collar. Even the Bahamas was this way. Of course, a guy with one half assed SECT under his belt would have no clue. Again, the take was awful, elitist and exactly what I expect from him.

-I went to the last UL game at Yum. I've been to 5+ at UL not counting several football games. I don't enjoy those experiences.

-Like it or not Humphries is going to have to play more if we're getting nothing on D from the 4. Bam can't guard 2 guys and get fouls trying to help.

-Strangely feel ok this morning. Going to push through, big day at the office, then bomb all my melatonin around 8p.

SAE -- it's the blue collar crowd that can afford a flight to Vegas, $200 tickets, a $350/night room at the Cosmo, $20 cocktails, $300 steak dinner for two, and a stroll up and down the shops at Caesars to pick up a Prada bag for good measure.

If that's this "wine and cheese crowd" you speak of, then I'll kiss your ass. Get it straight.

Idiot.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on StubHub for Wednesday. 300 levels tickets are in the 150 range. Seems like there's a good amount of tix for sale.

I'm going to take gyero off today. Just can't stomach a whole day of Anth talking about $5k tabs, bottle services, expensive wine, making it rain, VIP sections, courtside seats, owning Vegas blah blah blah. Somebody text me when he is done
Sweet. Go ahead and turn your laptop off out in Prospect or if you can't figure it out ask Consuela to help you like normal.

About that KSR Snapchat:

1. What was wrong with Mike Bean?
2. That was vintage Adrian, Forty Fvcking Seven

You seem to be familiar with the more affordable side of Vegas. Best Western. Shady hookers. $2 hot dogs. Old Vegas.

In breaking down Roy's jacket toss, you can't overstate how awful his coat throw was. Has he ever thrown anything before? Throwing his young players draft status out the window obviously doesnt count.

It was an awful effort. Like a half throw-half push off. No crow hop, no arm extension. And the immediate sit and pout that followed was the icing. What a poor display. If youre getting T'd, you better earn it. Bitch.

Vegas Randos:

You can easily get tickets to these games...unlike a UNC at Rupp Arena. Ours were $90, mid court, 2nd row upper, great view. How many big games has SAE been to at Rupp lately? Lol.

I get what he's saying overall, but these little trips each year in little mini-tournament atmospheres are some of the best memories of my life. Just worship, as does anyone who's been on some of them.

-I pretty much refuse to go to big dinners -- but STK was awesome. Walk around, dance, great music, drink..then sit down for 15 minutes when your food comes -- it was basically one moving party with food served near the end. The checks were divided into groups of 4 and the service was great -- if you can't handle that, it's on you.

...Pope was probably much more irritated he showed up late, and got stuck at the 'other' table on the end w/ a bunch of randos. Again, that's on you.

After the game/immediate celebration , It was the most fun 2 hours of the trip, imo.

-Trip itself was just so much damn fun though. What a crew. Gamboled my ass off, and ended up a few hundo.

Was wrong & wright about the club

Wrong: Nobody would make it. Welp, everyone made it, thanks in part to the 30 person limo and amazing vibe/party the dinner was, got everyone going.
Right: The club was terrible. Impressive as a structure? Yes, pretty amazing. Cool experience? I suppose, for a few minutes. Passing all the suited up ballers and walking right in the door was a good look. A good place to hang out? Lol. Definitely would not go back, but it was a great night all around.

-Arrived Thursday early, and set off w/ the lass to hotel crawl, gambol, drink -- met up w/ the crew at the sportsbook, then 8 of us went to Beauty & Essex -- then played shuffleboard, drank, and gamboled til 1am. Solid start.

-Friday was the best day. I was out and about solo by 8:30am, gamboling in at least 8 casinos before finally catching up with Burgans, Anth, and Pope, where we ended up having essentially a private Craps table, which helped some of the crew learn how to play. From there, I took Anth to O'sheas where we played 1 on 1 beer pong. :sunglasses: - then it was time to rest a lil for the big night ahead.

-Saturday was a struggle early, but like 50 times before, we all rallied and of course the game as an all-timer. Plan had been to grab dinner and call it a night afterwards, but that just wasn't possible given the Euphoria of the situation. After regroupoing at the Sportsbook to celebrate, Lass & I cabbed it down to Casino Royale w/ the Burgans and played Craps til 1am...again.

Yesterday, of course, was awful. Delays, cancellations, etc, etc. Lots of horror stories from BBN, but we somehow ended up making it back to Louisville 1:15 after our originally scheduled time, so that was a win.

Feel terrible today, but that's okay. Overall, one of the more fun weekends I've had in a really long time. [cheers]

He actually should has been run. He threw another hissy fit not too long after the coat throw.

Does no one in Roy Williams life love him enough to tell him that shirt is f***ing offensively ugly?

Sorta sad, really.

We're we late in arriving, yep. Was that in any way my fault, no.

COUPLES!!!!

He couldn't make the team in A League of Our Own.

It's an ignorant take, really. You aren't getting home & home games on a yearly or bi-yearly basis with UNC, Duke, Michigan St, Kansas, UCLA, etc in 2016.

If it weren't for these events, a majority of these games wouldn't happen at all and we'd be stuck w/ the old days of 15 cupcakes with 1 or 2 marquee games before we get into the amazing SEC schedule.

And yes, while there were plenty of elite UK superfans, 80% of BBN out there were Billy Joe Wildcat, per usual.

I'm fairly certain you still enjoyed on your TV (just like you would have had this game been in Lexington, TS) but you could always just boycott and not watch I suppose.

If "special" games in neutral cities means blowing out Michigan St. and North Carolina on a regular basis, then I'm all for them. Bonus for a player like Monk going for 23 and 47, respectively, with 15 combined 3 pointers (lucky as they were...lol).

Against Michigan St., UCLA, and North Carolina, Monk averaged 31 Points/Game on 36-64 Shooting, 19-31 from behind the arc.

He's sooooo streaky.

I have grown to love the "they care too much, thus they are losers" hot twitter takes from other fan bases. Its when you know CATS are rollin.

There are very few regular season game experiences that stay with you. These big game roadies create them. Slapping high fives, go big blues, CATS I just live for it.

I went full BJW in the final 3 minutes.

Does anyone actually add up a trip like that to see legitimately what you spent? That sounds like a depressing, wasteful exercise. I move forward and pray for no more "pending charges"

Real decision today is lunch. Going to take a huge change of heart to go remotely healthy.

-Buffalo hummus FTW.

-Didn't realize how rough it would be on my parents to move to a different town at their age. For us, it's no big deal to find a new doc, a new pharmacy, and figure things out in a new town, let alone boxing/unboxing stuff in a new place. They moved to our town six months ago and still don't know where anything in their house is. Part of that is age(and my mom's condition), obviously, but man, it's definitely causing me to rethink my original plan to move somewhere warmer when I hit my 70's. Kinda sad to see, honestly.

-Was jealous of the Vegas crew until I rolled into the Cinemark, one-deep, for a 9:15 a.m. showing of "Rogue One" on Saturday, having already selected my primo seat in the center of the theater on the Fandango app. #baller
