You can go 71 to 275 to 75...usually that's faster...especially if there is construction. The 75 way through the city is nonsense.

The 405 and 101 Freeways are an absolute nightmare. Words can't even describe.

Grew up there LadyCat92. It was farmland while I was there, now its probably one of the busiest* yet safest suburbs in all of STL.
Lots to do, i.e. local bars/restaurants, theaters, parks, etc. and its a great place to live, only 20+ miles from downtown.
*Its so busy I'd recommend looking into living in Town& Country or even Saint Peters and commuting.

- The Ocoee was awesome. We did both the upper and middle portions of the river. My buddy brought his GoPro and we were able to get some great footage. Our hippie ass tour guide turned out to be a demented thrill seeker who flipped us a few times and deliberately put us in some scary (but amazing) spots on the river. I've rafted quite a few times but that's as much fun as I've ever had. Beat to hell, though.
- I gotta admit, the men's 4 x 100 free relay always gets me pretty amped. Glad we brought that shit back home. Phelps' turn was amazing and swung the entire race. Dude is something else.

- Under Armour is just everywhere. USA swim tech gear, gymnastics, etc... I never imagined they'd be such a threat to Nike 10-15 years ago.
