This season is done. Murray State and maybe Ohio are the only wins.

The wheels go flying off next week. Combine that with clowns/cancers like Key and Brown. The losses will be ugly as will the wins.

Fully expect to see some of these turds sit out with “injuries”.

Cincy folks, need a recreational dispensary to hit up before the Ice Cube concert Saturday. Any recs? The websites (or lack of them in some cases) are DISMAL/non-existent. No medical dispenseries, can't use 'em; rec only. TIA Just don't want to waste time driving/f***ing around. Go, buy, leave, concert, that's it.

Queen City Dispensary on Montgomery in Norwood:

Main recommendation - place an order online for pickup. The shopping experience is very sterile and a waste of time. And a weird thing - you can only place online orders when the physical retail store is open. 9 to 9. I suspect that tomfoolery is the product of some do-gooder’s legislative compromise.

Make your way to Listerman’s after and have a cold beverage.

Get really high. Enjoy.

Much appreciated, and I'll do that. 👍

:: Although it's been twenty years, at this point I'd be hesitant to count Ohio as a victory. But, with the optimism Stoops brought to the podium today, well, #whynot.

:: Rubbing more salt in that wound was their band was FARRR!

:: Been a few years since my last post, and it's good to see the usual gang of idiots still around. I suppose anything less would be uncivilized.

:: wcc, a very belated, and sincere, congratulations to you.

:: You still taking care of my UK/Penn State game DVD's, Clown??

::Updates on the NY Five at some point.

Michigan is where a friend took me last month. Got a 2/180 flower and some 90% pens. Next time it’ll just be pens. First time I’ve had one that actually did something and damn, did it ever!!😎

Shangri-la on I-75 north in Monroe has dispensaries on both sides of the interstate. One is rec, the other med. Same exit as Miami Valley Gaming. It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but it was easy in and out.

"What a dude"....to quote the illustrious Reds fan on here...

2 for his last 18 w/ 10 K's.
15 K's in 30 ab's for the month at a .200 BA clip.

Oh, but he had a good game a week ago so all's well.

Huber turning on CMS is definitely noteworthy.

Barring a miraculous turnaround, this past Sat and the A&M fiasco he has completely lost the fan base.

And Vince needs to keep his Frito hole shut and just coach/recruit. Which we are told every yr how deep the TE room is but see minimal results.

Its a strange thing. I'll always love Stoops and everything he's done for UK Football. But, while I appreciate everything he's done for this program, I, like many, haven't gotten over the whole Texas A&M fiasco.

Pair that with arguably with one of the most uninspired and embarrassing losses in recent history, I'm certainly questioning my desire to continue going to games. Setting up a massive tailgate for 100 people, rushing there from Youth Football supporting my own sons, sometimes leaving their games early to get a tailgate setup so we can support UK's team, the thousands and thousands of dollars spent annually on tickets, parking passes, tailgates, supporting NIL, I'm really just starting to question my desire to keep putting in the effort.

If I see a team fight, play their best, and lose, I can deal with that. I'm still in. A well fought loss is respectable.

Saturday, I watched a SEC team that seemly didn't want to be there, and certainly didn't look like a SEC team. With a completely full stadium of rowdy loud fans, in beautiful weather, against an opponent they should have curb stomped, yet they played like they didn't give a shit.......

Simply put, if you don't act like you want to be there, why should I? And that all starts with the coach.

Watching VM go down in a blaze of glory will be something. That guy will prolly work for UL next.

Its going to be a disaster whenever it happens.

Stoops is already practicing his “tough” schedule routine for the media. Going to squeeze another $9 million from UK/TB.

Huber, welcome to the dark side.

-I wouldn't say I'm out on Stoops. At all. I'd love to open it up and see what we could do but he's done so much for the program he has a decent leash from me. For example, getting pasted by a SEC team, and that seeming unfathomable, is nothing short of a miracle in itself.

That said, he needs to either state his intentions or move on. This wishy washy stuff doesn't play.

Also, being beholden to a few knuckleheads is dumb. Let them transfer and use the big bucks to secure the best trenches we can afford. That's what we had when we were successful. He hates to pass, so why are we spending money on WRs?

Also, stop taking pokes at the fans. If you can't see the investment of the fans the last 2 weeks... f*ck right off. You would've thought the AM fan reaction would've humbled him a bit. I guess not.

-Sun down before 8 last night. FFS.

-Being genuinely excited for basketball is an odd feeling. Like, I have no idea who's on our team for the most part. Wild stuff.

-My schedule over the next month is non-f*cking-stop.

-I mentioned it before but I'm traveler pant exclusive these days. I really hate wearing anything else.

He’s been paid more than enough for what he has done in 2014-2019. He got the bag. It’s time to produce or GTFO.

Have a random high school coach in here and he says.” He’s done a lot for UK football but he always is making excuses. Taking shots at your fans.” It’s a culture thing and it’s not changing.”

The fans aren’t the problem. He is.

When a coach becomes resentful of the fans, that’s usually the final step before the end. Fans aren’t complicated, at all. They are that judgmental, blunt relative you see at the holidays with no filter. If things are going well they praise you and you feel good about it, if not they point it out and annoy you and you want to avoid them. Deep down stoops, and Cal the last couple years, know they’re not doing a great job. Unfortunately for them they can’t avoid the fans except holidays, and they keep resenting that we point out their failures.

I don’t know how you really bounce back from leaving for another job and then having to crawl back with your tail between your legs because of a fan revolt. We know he doesn’t want to be here, which makes his various issues a lot less tolerable. Like Cal, this feels like the beginning of the end of an increasingly unsatisfying marriage.

Piglet is another example that in the end, character / integrity is the foundation of everything in life. You can have success for a while but if you don't have that foundation, it will catch up to you.

Can you imagine Nick Saban enduring an ass-kicking like that in Year 12? He would not tolerate it. He wouldn't have to, because he wouldn't let it happen.

I’m convinced that Stoops lost his way a few years ago when he went away from what he knows best and what made him so “successful” early on and that was smash mouth, big boy football. Who was it that said something along the lines of you knew you were in a war after you played UK? Maybe Saban? I also don’t think he has ever bought 💯 into a more wide open offense and it shows with 4 OC’s in 5 years. We no longer really have an identity on O. Throw in the NIL and A&M situation and it just appears that is burned out.

I also think that by taking so many transfers, especially at QB, and not recruiting and developing more, which used to be a strength, has hampered the “Culture”. Those guys are just NIL mercenaries looking for the “bag” and aren’t about continuing to build the program.

UK football has routinely been called the best job in college football because of the low fan expectations. I haven't really heard him bitch about the fans, though, just NIL. If he is bitching about our fans after the way he was treated by TAMU fans in the 4 hour window that they thought he was their next coach, then he's just delusional.

NIL is not the problem he thinks it is though. The roster is pretty stacked, and has been for the last 5-6 years. We put plenty of dudes into the NFL. It's at least as good as, and probably better than South Carolina's. The problem is discipline and execution. We had a higher success rate than USC on Saturday, by the way. We just had too many missed blocking assignments, blown coverages, penalties and turnovers, all of which resulted in huge plays. Same story for the last 5 years. Even in 2021. Pretty sure we led the nation in turnovers that year, but had the talent to overcome it. The talent is probably maxed out here, I don't really see how it gets better than this at UK. The problem is how the talent is coached.

The talent is good enough to regularly beat the non cons, Vandy, Florida, USC, MIssouri, Miss State, and the random SEC power having a down year. And it should be good enough to sneak up and beat a big boy on occasion, but that will take a good, well executed game plan, some risks that pan out, and maybe a lil luck (which favors the prepared). We ain't getting those under CMS.

In some ways it’s not even about the wins and losses… that’s the result of preparation, coaching, recruiting, execution, etc.

It’s about the 2-3x times a year where we all say “what the **** was that”. I get it, stinkers happen but Saturday was not that. That was a full blown “we don’t give a shit” performance by the players and coaches.

If it’s already happening in wk2, who knows how many more are coming?

The A&M thing had to be a blow to his pride, too. Can you imagine getting hired by another company and then the shareholders immediately all revolt and get the company to rescind your offer? Ha ha ha ha.

If Stoops wants a big time job somewhere, he's probably better off taking the Chip Kelly route and accept a D Coordinator job at a top school. I'm not done with him either, but the idea of Pope and Sumrall here together seems like it was meant to be.
