Looking for reports about and from Big Apple Wodie. Want to hear about him swaggering around NYC all weekend.

You just sign up for CatPaw yesterday, bro?

5 days in NYC. You think he’s just gonna do a quick fly by? Have patience. The Sistine Chapel wasn’t painted in a day, either. He’s in the lab with a pen and a pad. Give it some time. Maybe pull up a seat, relax, and grab a bottle of wine.

Well was hoping for some firsthand accounts from other people about him. Wish Richie would have made the trip.

You ever clean up all those mayoral campaign signs haplessly strewn around and polluting Hunting Creek?

Hard not to make it political. Directly the result of Soros-backed prosecutors with warped philosophies.
How in the hell does a genuine, admitted Nazi collaborator get away with subverting governments around the world? They find some low-level guard and he gets shipped to Israel to stand trial for war crimes.

Think they are all about the same. Kit is sent to your house and you do a swab and send it back in. Results come back with a breakdown of where your ancestors come from. Haven’t heard anything bad about any of them from my dad who is big into ancestry.
Have a friend that found out she had a half-brother from an affair her dad had. Her dad had passed away the previous year…so there’s that.

Getting a kick out of sloot trying keep Anth from "shivelying up" their new house with Xmas lights. If the neighbors find out Anths past, it's going to kill Sloots cred with the neighborhood hens. Prayers sent Sloot.
Our neighbors know our roots. We're proud rednecks over here in Montclair. I've just never liked colored lights.

-HK, do you have another child?

-What was that fancy desk chair you all (@HUBER) were posting about a few months ago? Finally seem to have the work plans for WFH and in office time and I'm ready to turn the dining room into a combo office/bourbon cabinet room.

Also looking to get a standing desk converter. Any recs there?

There are far too many "blank spaces" in my life, to willingly put myself into a national DNA database.

All in all, I've tried to be a decent person, but why go looking for trouble.
Duuuuuude, yes. I think it would be super cool to know but I don’t want my DNA in a database because I have a tinfoil hat and stuff.

Do I have another child.?

Well, I'll answer it this way: Not that I KNOW of. But, I'm not gonna lie and say I always put a cap on it either, and I can think of ONE particular situation: a girl ended up pregnant, and fortunately for me, I was either a bad long term prospect, a bad lay (or both) and she chose to pursue the other "person of interest"

( I left for the Air Force 2 months later, Madame Butterfly style)

Just sat behind/across the aisle from a Satchel Paige on my flight, and I read a text over his shoulder that he’s sending to someone:

BRO YOU OUT HERE PAYIN 450 A MONTH FOR 60 MONTHS ON A NISSAN SENTRA F*** YOU I AINT EVEN ARGUIN WIT YOU NO MORE

[laughing][laughing]

Sounds/reads like something I’d send to one of you clowns, if I were an A-A.

- NYC was a blast.

- First time in MSG. Just feels different walking into a game there. Incredible atmosphere.

- Demsey's was a madhouse pregame. BbdK was already in full grinding dance mode. Good to see the Beans, Burgans, and SAE.

- Great to meet legalbeagle. Solid dude.

- Keen's Steakhouse was fantastic.

- Katz's Deli has the best pastrami in the country.

- Will be back in NYC for the company Christmas party in a few weeks.

- Veterans Day always brings out some online genealogy reading for me. From my paternal grandpa, my great(6) grandpa fought for the Continental Army and died at Yorktown just before victory. From my paternal grandma, my great(6) grandpa was one of the 1000 Hessians captured by Washington in Trenton on Christmas Night, 1776. From there he became a “trusty” and ran supplies (rum) for George for the rest of the war and settled in Pennsylvania upon release years later.

- I’ve penciled in UK-UF as my son’s first game in Rupp. He’s only been to Reds games, so it should blow his mind.

- Jimmy John’s always puts out quality limited time “specials.” Spicy Chicken > Caesar Wrap > Black and Bleu… The hits keep coming.

- Steelcase Gesture and Herman Miller Embody are the two top dogs in the chair game, IMO. Aeron chairs were built with pre-DVD era technology and are just living off the name.

- Frisch’s finally dropped the cease and desist on the Northside Yacht Club’s “F*cc Boi” sandwich, so this is the last weekend to grab on if you haven’t yet.

The Jarvis desk looks cool, but I need some drawers and storage. I probably need a standing desk converter thing.

What did your other 127 great great great great great grandparents do?

All kinds of stuff. On my mom’s side the last name is pretty unique so it was easy to trace. I have two bound volumes of family history that some distant relative put together. It has all kinds of stuff, accounting of possessions from wills, etc. What were your grandparents doing in the 1500’s?

When? I'll be outside of Newark for our party 12/10. Thinking of staying through the weekend.

Robert DeLong came over in 1591. That’s as far back as my family went in search of, have no idea his “relation” to me though.

Kicking it in Sicily and Malta most likely.
