-Re: Monk. More like he finally is growing up. Kid always had game, which is how he stuck around while being a complete dipshit, glad he landed on his feet in a good environment before he lost his chance.

-Don't regret anything from Tuesday Night or Wednesday Morning. We'll be fine, but we're 2 steps down from Zags this year and Baylor last year. I have no issue when we're a legit threat and the NCAAT strikes, that's life in CBB. But 1 game in realizing you're not talented enough, that's a tough pill to continue to swallow. Hopefully our experience can make ^ a freezing cold take.

-With rona cases headed back up I'm sure everyone will react rationally. Here's doc Anth's tips for winter surge, don't take a PCR unless forced, only rapid, preferably at home. If you or a loved one actually gets sick, get the MAs asap. Believe Norton's would be your place in Lou for that. Enjoy the Holidays, turn on the Rat Pack, pour a tall brown water 1 cube max, and block out the noise.

-With a 6 year old I guess it's time to get a little corny with the Xmas lights. I used to love it. Dad on the roof with a 12 and 8 year old, that was super safe, lol. Probably work on that after Thanksgiving, as Jesus and Santa intended. Pretty stoked for that visit to Lowes.

-McCall is back, that's massive. Let's win these last 4.

-Been wearing a mask in to Rupp and that's it. What a dumb rule.

-Guessing Stoops name has cooled for new gigs. Wonder if how many years it takes before he's just UK Football? Monster class coming in next year and should have a lot of talent back.

-Much like someone from deep Eastern KY and Southern Louisiana I wouldn't f*ck with anyone from Belarus. Just seems like they've seen some shit.

-Helped G with a school project, that was intended for family participation, and I going to be crushed if it's anything less than a check+.

-This wind is f*cking nuts right now. Damn.

For anyone interest, I have a friend who runs a season-long CBB contest. $20 entry. Winner last year won $3K+

Pick 1 team each from several grouping of teams and 1 Wildcard. Have always enjoyed seeing how poorly I do.

Don't take or make this political. But regardless of what your political affiliation is, this stuff out west is beyond unbelievable. To allow countless people, one after the other to go into an establishment and load up a cart full of another man's goods, not pay for them, and there be no consequences is Un American.
And remember, laws were actually passed to allow this. Bullshit, and should scare the hell out of everyone.

To their credit, it's mostly peaceful.

It was a very common belief down here that #’s went up in July and August while most people were inside (too hot). Now everyone is outside and numbers are going back down.

I had to be "that guy." Couldn't help myself.

I remember posting this article right here two months ago, where one of our local newslosers predicted a huge catastrophic "black hole" of COVID, in part (and I can't type this without laughing) because after the hurricane people would huddle up in small air conditioned spaces and spread the disease.

Fast forward to today, the same dickface writes an article that Louisiana has the lowest hospitalization rate in the entire country.

I had to email her a pic of both headlines, only 2 months apart, and the entire body of my email was "lol."

Her response:

Hi Casey, I’m not sure how to respond to your note or what your intent was. I’d love to hear your perspective on the pandemic’s patterns beyond “lol” if you can muster it.

Spreading fear tactics and paranoia should be considered MISINFORMATION, too. Come with a warning label. Maybe a Twitter ban.

believe we know why it's now "cyclical or seasonal" rather than DeathSantis.

Don't worry, bruh. Your treadmill will show up eventually.

It may get held up offshore at port bottleneck or possibly stuck on one of our racist roads -- but you'll see it soon.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, bubba. Don't be getting too cutesy with the outside decorations. We have very tasteful lighted wreaths on the door and each window + a candle. Plus the lighted garland on the porch thingy.

There is once again, one less weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you might wanna get an early start. (By the way, gonna need you to bring the tree in from the garage before the weekend, honey. I apologize to those of you who are offended by a fake tree.)

Hard not to make it political. Directly the result of Soros-backed prosecutors with warped philosophies.

Don't you have something to mop or clean?

This place was up and running last night on the way home from church. Kids went wild so I got an inflatable Mickey and Minnie to go on our porch this year. Drawing the line at colored lights though.

Any ancestor of Thomas Jefferson signed up yet?
I have a first cousin several times removed that married one of his legitimate daughters.

Biggest family secret I found was my grandmother's birth certificate from 2 months after her parents got married. Haven't discussed it with her, but my mom confirmed that it was a known secret.

Lots of former revolutionary War veterans, civil war veterans on both sides, and unfortunately a few slave owners. Found an ancestor that was in the second group that came to Jamestown too which was really cool, and also discovered that the farm I grew up on has been in the family since at least 1783.

Go real or go home.

Our big blue tree is beautiful.

You can install as many white lights on the house as you want, but colored lights are a no-go unless you want to put those in the back yard.

This year I put away my Halloween costume veto. Typically, I enforce cool selections that tickle the other parents and family members.

Previous selections, (Ben Franklin, Peanut-Butter Jelly time banana, Willy Wonka and an Oompaloompa) were trumped by some ninja character from Naruto.

Holiday magic that’s for the KIDS >>>> classy, neighbor-friendly decor.

Let Tony cheese the Christmas display in the kids formative years… plenty of time to button it up in the future.

Got me a Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Proof pick being sent… look forward to that beast.

Yup, when I stay at my buddys house in Hardin County on occasion I just hit the couch with a blanket. Fall asleep just fine but wake up about 4:30-5 ready to go ahead and roll out.
