My bad, Chad. I don't usually look at your FB posts unless there is a pic of your fiancé, dog or Adrian.

You are right, though. It is a joke that they want to make new teams build a new stadium even if they have something that works better than anything the MLS has now (Nippert).

Todd Hall at EKU was where the action was, man. I faced Dupree Hall, which was a chick's dorm. Woo wee. Those gals would like to strip and strut in front of those windows, you guys.

But talk about a rough 4 years, sports wise...

My frosh year, EKU football was #1 in the county D1-AA. They had a huge lead against some make believe team from TN on homecoming. Well, the back ups failed to do their jobs and ol' Roy Kidd put the starters back in to prove a point. First play back in, QB Lorenzo Fields scored on a 55 yd run and was tackled in the end zone. Broken ankle. Bye bye season. Lost in the 1st rd.

The next year, the #1 Colonels had to play at Marshall in the national semis. Failed to score from inside the 2 and lost.

My last year, EKU's legit national champ contending team had to play Tressel & Co. at Youngstown. EKU QB and Penn State transfer John Sacca scored on a long TD run with under a minute to go to give the Colonels the lead. Youngstown went right down and scored the winner just before the final gun. Very UK-esque.

The basketball team went 19-13 one year, but never made the postseason.

So save the Tubby Era whining, you bunch of spoiled brats. Be thankful for Donna's pepperoni slices and move on.

The last 3-4 pages of GYERO have been terrible. One step above the d league and that's being generous. You know it's true. Tubby, shitty dorms and reviving the cable vs streaming debate? Yall supposed to be SEC. Learn, do better, and act like it.

Kearney is who you want operating on you if your life depends on it. Knows his stuff inside and out. He also demands the same of anyone who is working with him, otherwise you're pretty much dead to him, and he'll let you know it in no uncertain terms. He's quite vulgar at times and it rubs some people the wrong way. There are people who say it's unprofessional to speak in that way and his response would be "I don't give a GD touch, if someone shoots your mom in the chest do you want a professional peckerhead to discuss her dying politely or do you want someone to actually save her ass?" Basically his language and outspokenness is something that could always be reprimanded if needed, but he was their best surgeon and best teacher, hands down. The questions he asked re:finances at UK needed to be asked and he's absolutely on to something. They're standing by his behavior as being the grounds for his firing... but he's too good and important there to be fired over that. He's also a very caring and selfless guy but he hides that well. Volunteers at surgery on Sunday a ton and I never found that out until other volunteers there said he's there all the time.

The "hooker with a heart of gold" of surgeons, if you will.

Blanding III here, btw. (Obviously.)

Welcome back, Drummond

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Same exact story I've heard from everyone I've asked about him. We participated in S4S fundraising last year. I'll holler when it comes back.

Rack'm.

Pencil-pushing peckerhead was literally his favorite little saying. [laughing]

He terrified a lot of the girls in our class with his brash honesty and overall New England demeanor.

He spent a good amount of his lectures and clinical rounding time to empower all of the med students and residents to fight administrators tooth and nail if we thought something was better for the patients.

I had no idea b3 smelled like a bathroom because I was a dirty male.

Did y'all have a custodian that looked like...

He had a little spot in the corner of the ping pong room where he kept a chair and nudie mags. Tmfs. He set up metal cabinets to form his personal porno booth. Very funny at the time, now it's kind of disturbing?

- So, Kearney is basically Dr. Perry Cox? My kinda guy.

- Kings of Leon F'ing rocked. Maybe the best live performance I've ever seen. Amazing.

- Llama's boy Nathaniel Rateliff was pretty damn good himself. Helluva night on the Riverbend.

- Pumped to have JDrum back.

FINALLY. Someone here brings up one of the most valid points in all of this giant mess. Throughout their entire campaign of painting the whole blame one a rogue McGee I haven't heard one fan or media type also blame the players who participated in the acts ( RUSS, CHANE, & MEGA) thus putting the program in jeopardy.

Tim Sullivan has made a commitment to go all in on Floyd St now that he has just cause.

I knew him as Pat. Wasn't sure of the last name. Dude was a pretty good athlete the best I remember. Hard to get that image out of my head when I hear Haggin Hall. We were in C3.

C3 as well, 92/93. Also had a a dude named Pat that lived across the hall from me. Real dickhead. He basically left the 2nd semester and moved back in with his parents. I had a buddy who worked the check in booth so one night while I was hanging out with him I lifted a spare key to his room. I went into his room, took his textbooks, which I sold, and did other mischievous things. His parents were none too happy when they came to clean out his room and they found drawings of large dicks, made with mustard, all over the place. We may have peed in the heater and turned it on high as well but I'd never admit to it.

-Huber Giddy to have J Drum back. Awesome dude and always brings good info. JDrum, make sure you make time to stop by the tailgate as often as you want brotha, always good to see you and Crystal will make your brownies.

-How in the F***ing hell is Football season ticket sales down? I simply don't get it. Its going to be an incredible year with arguably the most talented team we've had in a decade. I don't understand you guys Cayut Fans.

-Harris and I were at a dinner while back with some of the coaches asking how we became friends and started talking about the message boards. Pairing that with seeing 80 and Anna's anniversary the other day, its pretty bizarre the friendships, the marriages, the babies that can all come back to the message boards. Don't get to see all my GYERO friends as much as I like, but now that the kids are getting older, going to make a better effort on that this season.

-Got a black black pup recently. Love the damn dog but who knew they would be so damn expensive. Invisible fence and electronic dog door. $2200 -.Nuts clipped and vet bills: $500 - Shredded dog toys in two months time: $200. - Shredded dog beds: (3) $300 - Onsite dog training for 3 weeks: $2000 Onsite retrieving training for bird hunting: $1500 - The list goes on and on. I love the little bastard but life without a dog is much easier and less expensive than before. And the amount of shit that comes out of the thing is unbelievable. Gone are the days of my beautiful yard.

-If any of the ol regulars ever want to stop by or join our tailgate, we are in the Green lot right next to LCC. Stop by anytime, would love to see you all.

-Going up to Kohler Wisconsin in a few weeks and was invited to play Whistling Straits where the 2020 Ryder Cup will be played or to shoot sporting clays. I chose to play golf but am starting to second guess myself. I'm no BBdK on the golf course, pretty much what most would call a hacker. If you weren't the best at golf, would you choose to play an incredible golf course even though you know you are going to look like absolute shit or shoot clays that you know you're pretty good at?

-Kroger Field.
