I see featured groups and main event listed, but none are working ? “YOUR EVENT HAS ENDED” scrolling on bottomThe last round got moved up for weather and is on ESPN Plus right now if you have access to that.
What putting drills do you guys use to improve? Looking to shave a few shots off my score (aren't we all?)
Sorry I didn't see your message but you can also try a putting mirror. It can help with alignment as well as making sure you are consistently hitting the sweet spot. Most pros use them when warming up.OK, since no one apparently likes me or is even willing to drop a helpful hint, I did pick up this drill a couple of weeks ago from a local HS coach, and the last few rounds, have putted better:
Put 12 pegs in the ground around a hole, 3 feet, 6 feet and 9 feet away, in a straight line, then the same on the exact opposite side of the hole, then three halfway in between the first two sets, then one directly across from the 3rd set. So when you start, you have 12 tees pretty much in the shape of a cross, on the four points of the dial.
Round 1, you have to make one putt from the 3, then one from 6, and one from 9, before you proceed to the next set. Once you have made one putt each from all 12 tees, round 1 is complete. the 9 footers are not easy, especially if you have some break. The other day, I lipped out the same 9 footer FIVE times in a row, which seems hard to do, given that you know the exact line. 😫
Then, Round 2 is called 3-2-1. You have to make three straight from 3 feet, 2 straight from 6 feet and one from 9 feet before you can move to the next set. This can take a while. But it is worth it. One thing I can already tell is that on the 3 footers, aim for the back of the cup and hit the putt solidly, so it can't die away at the hole, a foible that has cost me many a stroke on the course.
Read it and still don’t know whether he’s accurate. He is Pro LIV so take with a grain of salt. As well if some thing comes from pro PGA.
Finished up 4 rounds in HHI. Atlantic Dunes, Oyster Reef, Bearceek and Shipyard. Good for the soul.
Gonna crack a 100?It's an anti PGA hit piece at this point, nothing more. Outside of Monahan and the PIF comments, there isn't anything else to go on currently.
Will be at HHI in Sep....Harbour Town and AD on the docket, as well as Old South...hidden gem in Bluffton.
Played all 3. Been awhile for Old South so can't remember much but do recall it being in really good condition. Harbour is just a cool course to play but iron play better be money to handle those smaller greens. Will be at HHI in Sep....Harbour Town and AD on the docket, as well as Old South...hidden gem in Bluffton.
Yes...played it before. It is a gem, but overpriced. Only reason this year is w/ a friend who wants to play it. I prefer the overall layout of AD if I had my druthers.Played all 3. AD is top notch, never played Harbour Town, way too much money for meYes...played it before. It is a gem, but overpriced. Only reason this year is w/ a friend who wants to play it. I prefer the overall layout of AD if I had my druthers.

The PGA Tour, PIF and understanding the deal to shape golf’s future
Weather Sunday through Tuesday this week looks perfect. Of course, once the tournament starts, good chance of rain nearly every day. 🤮4 spots available today at Boone's Trace for the Barbasol:
Oh but that 3 years to that molten smoke show was probably worth it.He got a worse tee time than JJ Henry!
At 46,Duf's hanging on. I think this is his last year of exemptions.
He's won $28 million on tour.
He's got $3 million in deferred Fed Ex and cut money.
Take out the settlement for his 3 year marriage and he's probably got a great life except for the memory of DJ and his wife fooling around.

I was walking scorer for Gribble, Lebioda and Freiburghaus today. Gribble is one shot off the lead. To be honest, Champions holds up pretty well except for the par fives. Gribble for example, -6 on par 5s (2 eagles!!), one under on the other 14 holes.
Never have understood the rationale for having a PGA event the same week(end) as a major. I get there are a lot of guys who don't qualify for the major so tournaments like this are great for them but from a sponsorship standpoint have no clue why anyone would want to spend the kind of money it takes for such slowly attended/viewed event. The event they are going to have next year in Myrtle Beach the same week as the Wells makes zero sense to me.Not worth arguing over, but it doesn't hurt that they let the pros play preferred lies in the fairway, even though it never rained yesterday and the course is in prime condition. "These guys are good" - they don't need any help.
FWIW, I don't think we keep the tournament next year anyway, have not heard any realistic talk of a new sponsor.
