Winning the Kentucky open and Kentucky amateur in the same year has only been done like 3 times before: once by JB Holmes and another by Jodie Mudd
He is in great company.
Happy Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago.
Was following along last night and Tereshko was in prime position to make the top 64. Think he bogeyed 3 straight holes on 15,16,17 before a birdie at 18 that had him back in for a few minutes. The cut then moved.
Did notice one player from Louisville made it. J.M. Butler, looks like he played at Trinity and now at Auburn.
Can someone tell me how Lucas Glover can possibly win the FedEx Cup without having played in any of the 4 Majors this year? (Unless I missed one) Seems that the scoring system needs to be tweaked if that is still possible.

From Billy Walters book that comes out next week:
How Phil Betrayed Billy: Legal Maneuvering and a Friendship Destroyed
In an excerpt from his autobiography, the author details how Mickelson escaped two perilous legal cases and reveals the awkward end to their close relationshipfirepitcollective.com
Given the importance of the event I think that's probably the best final back 9 performance I've ever seen. Eight 3s and one 4.Hovland course record 61. 28 on the back.
I think Johnny Miller once shot 63 at the US Open at Oakmont to win.Given the importance of the event I think that's probably the best final back 9 performance I've ever seen. Eight 3s and one 4.

Well, in his defense, i doubt he watched that round, or any of us have watched that round. He does say he's ever seen, not that Miller mentioned it or that he saw one or two highlights.I think Johnny Miller once shot 63 at the US Open at Oakmont to win.
Seems like he mentioned that once or twice when he was a TV commentator. Am I wrong?
No you're right. 1973. I would have been 13 but I'm pretty sure I didn't watch.I think Johnny Miller once shot 63 at the US Open at Oakmont to win.

Thanks. His results the last 2 months is why. The majors carries extra points, but they don't have a "play to qualify" label in terms of getting into the FedEx$$.
JT missed 3 cuts at majors, plus the Memorial and the 3M, and was one stroke from getting into the top 70. Had JT made just one more cut, then he wouldn't have been on the ropes.
Was a sarcastic comment, Miller only mentioned it about 10,000 times during his TV career. No you're right. 1973. I would have been 13 but I'm pretty sure I didn't watch.
Never say never with that guy but that leg is a mess. Do not doubt he has the swing to still compete but he just can’t hold up for 4 straight days having to walk the course. I think he will do some serious damage on the Champions Tour when he is able to ride a cart.
Yeah, he would first have to enter a tournament and complete all 4 rounds, before he could possibly win, that's gonna be a problem in and of itself, it looks like.Never say never with that guy but that leg is a mess. A lot to unfold here. Is he blaming Billy Walters for using and enabling him?
Is there a hidden allusion to his cheating on his wife and that's why he thanks her?
Pretty long winded. Did not make me like him more or feel one ounce of sorry here.
Now that it's come to light on a grand scale it reminds me of the old Dennis Miller line, "Everyone finds God in the back of the police car".
