The only thing worth watching anymore are the Majors. PGA royally screwed up by being greedy instead of taking care of its players (ALL of them) and now it’s too late. Both tours are unwatchable outside of the majors.
Jordan had two excellent chances to win it.
Absolutely the worst crowd I've ever heard on a golf course with the screaming in the backswings.

Very impressed with Fitzpatrick’s swing.
I thought there was some kind of delay when they would yell in the backswing. I am shocked they didn't throw the POS that was doing it out.
It's absurd the stupid crap these idiots yell out at these events and when it happens in someone's backswing, that person should be immediately pointed out and thrown out. Spieth was more calm about it than I would have been. I get golf is trying to appeal to a broader base but at some point there still needs to be some respect and common sense.
Watching the golf documentary on Netflix made me realize how much trash talking is done from the gallery that you don't hear. The episode about Fitzpatrick had people being pure jerks and saying some rude stuff to him and thing is he seems like a good dude.
The majority of that was edited or added in over the actual footage. I'm sure he had the occasional loser say something to him, but for the most part- especially at that tournament he was covered in for the episode- the gallery was good to him.
I heard the camera pick up some stuff this weekend too. I heard one guy, after a bad shot, tell him the shot was terrible and he was in big trouble now. It wasn't terrible stuff but more stuff to get in his head. I guess I just didn't realize golf fans were like that as the only tournament I have ever been to was the Barbasol and I never really noticed any of that stuff there.
What was Scheffler griping about on his buried bunker shot, said "somebody should be fined"?? Just looked like a bad lie after a bad shot to me.
Also, is it just me or has this been one of the best PGA seasons in memory? Seems like every tournament is super tight and dramatic, yesterday's finish was epic, IMO.

There are a lot of losers at all sporting events. Golf obviously isnt on the level of the NFL or NBA from a heckling standpoint- but by the end of the weekend when you have drunk guy that thinks he's funny- they may be the most annoying.
It's occasionally fun to go back and forth at the Ryder Cup- but the loser yelling mashed potatoes, who is likely there on free corporate tickets, is just a little shithead in 100% of cases.
Throw in those dudes are probably on some bro golf trip, visors worn backwards, and usual behavior ensues.
Did anyone see Rahm's interview after the round where they mentioned his handicap is now +9. 🤣🤣🤣

Even if they don’t do it in their backswing they should be thrown out for stupidity. “Get in the hole” should only be allowed on putts and even then not a huge fan myself. Simply no reason to yell anything after a drive other than an applause and nice shot Jordan, John, Patrick, etc. anyone yelling mashed potatoes, baba booey, or anything else stupid just to have themselves heard should be removed from the grounds immediately and I wouldn’t be opposed to a flogging.

That crowd at RBC was the worst ever. Not sure if they were having big discount on drinks or whatever. As many have said, got to point these people out and get them banned from attending events for life. Like cancer they will spread unless you lance them.
The Masters had the highest TV ratings of any golf tournament in the last 5 years, but far from prime Tiger days. Maybe the PGA vs LIV drama increased interest.

Crowd was no worse than anywhere else with the masters being the lone exception. They don’t allow the stupid nonsense to be yelled, all other venues do and you can hear at least one idiot yelling on every hole on every course.
Tiger w/ ankle surgery today...8-12 week rehab by most estimates and that is for those w/ normal legs. He really just needs to hang it up.
Believe Jason Day mentioned Tiger told him a screw came out of his skin during the Masters and also the PGA last year. About hanging it up, I mean, yeah he is not winning but he is still making cuts. More than a lot of guys half his age on tour can say. Comes down to what expectations are and I think most fans are just glad to see him play and anything more is icing on the cake. My guess is he will still play in very select events to keep the competitive juices flowing until he can play on the Champions Tour and use a cart.

Yep. Good read. I'm 57. Friend from college starting getting symptoms around age 50. She was recently put in a memory home. Life is not supposed to work this way.
Have a close family member that was just diagnosed...hard to wrap your head around.
