Not that impressive by today’s standards. The 2 iron didn’t even stay on the green. The pitching wedge from 184 was straight down wind and he knew it was a flyer lie. Dudes like Robert streb and Andrew Putnam do that every week now.

Who here has played Bright Leaf? Or Wild Turkey Trace? Curious about maybe checking those out sometime
Verifying hands and arms move in unison with shouldersPsychiatric help needed here.
I cannot for the life of me keep doubles and triples off my card.
Yesterday was typical, had 1 birdie, lots of pars, a few bogeys . . . and three doubles and a GD triple, shot 86, but was NINE OVER on four holes, 5 over on the other 14.
I am working hard to keep my driver in play, which has always been my achilles heel, but beyond trying to fixe the big miss off the tee, you guys have any other advice?

Get your arm swing and pivot in sync
By Dan Carraher (iteachgolf), GolfWRX Featured Writer One of the largest problems most golfers face is the hands and arms not moving in sync with their pivots. This causes all kinds of issues with both how they will pivot and the ball flight that will result. I see far more golfers whose arms mov...forums.golfwrx.com
‘When the arms swing too slowly, two general things will happen: The arms will end up too far behind the pivot (common with better players) or the arms won't work down or forward fast enough and will be carried too far out by the pivot. These moves create two different results, but the root cause is the same. As a compensation, many golfers will either pull their arms across their bodies in an effort to get their arms back in front (the case of arms being too far behind the pivot), wiping across the ball and steepening the angle of attack.’
understanding what Early Extension is and how it kills distance:
Use this easy drill to prevent early extension in your swing
Early swing extension is a problem that plagues a majority of golfers, but with this drill you can stay in your posture throughout the swing.golf.com
‘Seventy percent of all golfers suffer from early extension, but 99 percent of Tour players don’t. That should tell you something about how damaging this swing error really is. Described in simple terms, early extension is any movement of your lower body toward the ball, relative to its starting position at address, during the swing. The most common iteration of early extension occurs between the top of the backswing and impact, when a poor weight shift or sequence forces your torso to rise up. As your upper body pulls away from the ball, your hips and legs thrust toward it. Expect an uncontrollable two-way miss along with a heavy dose of skulls and chunks.
Before you can correct early extension, you must determine whether it’s due to a physical limitation or a technical issue in your swing. When early extension is the result of a physical issue, it usually means you have limited mobility in your ankles, knees, hips and/or spine. It’s one of the reasons it’s so common for recreational golfers, because they spend more time sitting behind a desk.’
Shallowing on downswing to maximize distance:
Shallowing the golf club means that you get the club to flatten out more horizontally on the way down. Most golfers instead, have an over the top, casting motion which leads a steeper plane on the downswing. ... Some other flat golf swing benefits include: Compressing your irons and wedges.
Hard to believe Brooke Henderson at age 23 has won 10 times on the LPGA tour while Michelle Wie, almost 10 years older maybe has 5 wins total in her career.

The Zurich Classic was a dead in the water tour event until they changed it to a team event. Very smart on their part. I think if they would have a team event that had the best LPGA players paired with the top PGA players it would be a huge success and add a lot of interest to the LPGA tour. The caliber of women players today is outstanding.
