Yep, I know you and I both were going to struggle this week after losing Hurts. Tough to snap back from that one.I got utterly ****ed.
1st place, team is putting up 130ish points all year.. lose in the semi's (first game of the playoffs for me) after putting up just 85.. EIGHTY FIVE Points. 85 points in a god damn 3-WR league no less.
Lost Hurts, Davante was useless, Gerald Everett had his worst game of the year, Peoples-Jones had his worst game of the year, Zach Wilson killed my Garrett Wilson, Tennessee Defense was a bust, Latavious Murray and Pacheco were meh.
This was like a 3-seed losing to a 14-seed... maybe worse.

I’ve been in the same league since the mid 90s. If nothing else, it gives me a reason to smack talk all my buddies from late august until January. So are y'all gonna play next season?
I guess I am, since my main league won't let me quit. ;b

If I don't bail on my main league (and I probably won't), it'll be because I've been in it since its inception in '12 (and we've still got 8/10 original members), and as frustrating as Fantasy Football can be, I'd most definitely miss the constant smack talk.
Looks like we finally have a repeat champion for the first time ever in about 15-20 years. The guy that's about to lose by 50 with Freiermuth left to play started Cousins over Brady.
YepKicking this back up for the 2023 season!
Got two leagues this year, bailed on one after the cheating/colluding nonsense, joined another.
I've barely looked at this yet, what with the new house and newborn. I just got the #1 pick in a standard league, 1ppr draft. It has to be Justin Jefferson, right?
I'm in one league this season and I'm just gonna completely wing the draft.
I'd use a first pick on Chase over anybody, but that's only because I have the most fun when playing Bengals.
I'm picking 6 in a full PPR league
I suspect the first six will be in some order:
Jefferson
Chase
CMC
Ekeler
Kelce, and
either Kupp or T. Hill.
The guy picking 2 has already announced he is taking Chase, assuming he doesn't get hurt by Saturday.
He's an idiot, but he's our idiot, lol. That guy is an idiot for saying, unless he's throwing misdirection, and then he's a genius.
If I had the 6th I think I might reach for Kelce, knowing that I'm likely gonna get automatic 20pts/game or whatever it is. JJ, CmC, and Chase will be gone for sure.. and the rest in that range are shaky to me.
Man I do not want to be the guy who gets stuck with Kupp, unless he falls far. Rams are iffy, he's coming off injury, so is Stafford,..

The Hurts pick and the Taylor pick worries me. Hurts could definitely get hurt for a 2nd and Taylor? Who knows, could sit or get traded to a number one with a good number two? Idk.
I’m not touching Taylor til like round 3-4 at best. Hurts idk.
I’m in a non ppr league. I don’t need QBs til the 7-9th rounds. If you want Mahomes, Burrow, Hurts, etc before me have at it
I’ll stock up on WRs and RBs like I do every year hoping for injuries and people HAVE to lose a trade to me to maintain a chance of winning.
Anyone can get a shitty QB after their QB1 is injured and get a total of 40-60 less that year. When everyone has 5 RBs and you have a QB that’s injured, you’re the one begging.
@LineSkiCat14 Non PPR is just that, no PPR. RB out of the backfield getting a catch, no points, WR 70 yard bomb catch no points, except for yardage.
It changes your drafting dynamically for sure.
And I know any QB can be injured but if you take one in the top 3 rounds at least you’re hardcore gambling he’s putting up numbers all year. You can’t replace that.
If I draft Mahomes and he gets hurt, I’m f*****d. I can’t replace him. If I draft Herbert or whoever in the 8th round, he’s only projected to score what? 40-60 less points than Mahomes and his surrounding counterparts are within 10-20 points.
Now if I draft Derrick Henry first and 4-5 other backs, I lose him, man that sucks but I have 4 other guys to step in that are around 15-30 points less a year.
Look at my redone crashed post above.TEs I always shade. If you ca t get Kelce, the rest are just too close to each other. Andrew's and Kittle might be a tier 2.. but both have some injury concern/risk.
Finished my draft today. Full PPR league. We have to select three QBs and start one, 4 RBs and start two, five WRs and start three, 2 TE and start one and 2 kickers and 2 D and start one of each of them.
Finally, I had the sixth pick in a 10 team league.
QB-Lamar Jackson, Daniel Jones, and Brock Purdy,
RB-Nick Chubb, Dameon Pierce, Raschid (sp?) White, Antonio Gibson,
WR-Cooper Kupp, Chris Olave, Brandon Aiyuk, Courtland Sutton and Elijah Moore,
TE-Evan Engram, David Njoku,
D-Steelers, Raiders,
K-Elliot, Zeurline
I’m solid. I should make the playoffs, depending on health of course. Worried about Kupp, but his upside was so high I had to take him in the first.
We’ve had this league for 28 years now and that has always been the rule. We like it that way, because it keeps an active waiver/free agency for every position except QB. If you have an injury at RB or WR, there is always someone solid to pick up.Wait.. why does your league force you to take a specific number of positions?
Solid draft. I favored a lot of those WRs. I loved grabbing Sutton BEFORE the Jeudy injury.
