Six months ago his handlers where lying and saying 100% he's coming back. His handler tried to get approved as an agent so Sharpe could sign with him. The only way Sharpe comes back is either he is ineligible due to lying about graduation or his draft stock isn't what his handler wants.

Absolutely he knew. No one that coaches college BB is more attuned to what goes on in the NBA than Cal. In case you missed it, once in a great while he will mention his " players first " mantra.
