These guys blaming the fans look really stupid. Every fan base has some bad fans. Our “bad” fans aren’t even in the ball park of being as bad as fans of other teams.
According to this ESPN article it's apparently the fans fault that UK has struggled.

Take care of yourself and find a good therapist. Might put on medication, but it would probably lesson your stress and depression. Maybe, just talking to a therapist a couple of times could help you. Mental illness is serious, and could drive you to harm yourself. This could also be a gateway to abusing drugs, and alcohol. Wait a damn minute. For alot of people, basketball is just a sport that their state school or nearest university participates in. Out of the 30 or so states I've lived in or visited, noone identifies with basketball like we do. That's what media pundits and other people don't understand. The fanbase lives and breathes basketball. It should be no surprise that we hold our program to a higher standard. Hell, I saw dudes in UK gear in Korea in 2014. Is it so hard to believe that people get upset when even the most minute expectations aren't met?

Never mind it's the responsibility of the Hall of Fame, highest paid coach to teach the fundamentals to the players, prepare a winning game plan and win.
