Not with ABC paying billions to the SEC. I think all of our minds are going to be blown with the new coverage we get. I was saying in another thread it doesn’t matter as much in football because the SEC is so absurdly dominant it has to be covered extensively but for basketball it’s going to be awesome, especially since ESPN is pretty much responsible for 90% of the basketball content and shows. The SEC is now ABC/ESPNs cash cow - coverage will be through the roof. The Flagg and Duke glazing is gonna be awful this year. ESPN might have to be cancelled.
I think it is ice cream!!
I think he will end up pretty good pretty fast. I know a lot will give him crap but I honestly think he’s in that upper tier who will be pretty good in college. I would be happy if he fell flat and did nothing but the odds are not in our favor there.Sounds like normal freshman adjusting to the pace of the game kind of stuff. Hope it takes him a good 9-12 months to adjust.
I think he will be pretty good. However, I do not think he’s transcendent talent.I think he’s overrated.

Kentucky will roll Duke in early Nov and the AP will rise Duke to #1 and drop UK to honorable mention.
I forgot about Fat Hami. Laughed pretty goodRemember when we mocked Zion and called him fat Hami and then they kicked our ass in the Champion's Classic?
Some of you guys never learn.
But water isn't wetDuke freshman shit his pants and water is wet
We don't care about draft picks no moreFlagg is going to be really good. If he signed with UK y'all would be declaring him the #1 pick and NPOY already, come on now.
Cooper Flagg playing for Jon Scheyer doesn't concern me at all. If Mike Krzyzewski was still the Duke coach & Cooper Flagg was playing for him. That would worry me.Projected No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg was ‘hesitant’ in Duke debut, but ‘he will be destroying people by late November’

Yes! ^^I don't doubt he's good but I can't seem him being Zion Williamson good. Zions was the most physically impressive player I've seen with the combination of being more athletic than Flagg while also being 5 times as powerful. He was also given a blank check to be as physical as he wanted when players like Julius Randle and Bam Adabayo were handicapped for being the strongest guys on the court with ridiculous "over the back" and "charge" calls. God forbid one of them had their elbows flared out on a rebound and an opposing player scraped their chin on them.
With all that going for him, Zion STILL couldn't lead that team with Barrett AND Reddish with coach K at the helm to a championship. I don't see Scheyer and Flagg being more dangerous than that team. Especially with NIL allowing teams to make their own super teams with trades and recruiting.
I 100% remember calling him “Fat Hami” and I think I might even want to claim credit on coming up with that nickname. I’m standing on it too, Zion has been Fat Hami in the league up to this point.Remember when we mocked Zion and called him fat Hami and then they kicked our ass in the Champion's Classic?

I'll help you out. As far as basketball is concerned, Flagg skill level is higher than everyone you've mentioned. On defense think Anthony Davis. That is the end of the court he's really good at. And here is the kicker for everyone that doesn't remember. He's supposed to be a senior in high school. He's still only 17 years old.Yes! ^^
What made Zion so good so fast in college, was not his skill level, it was his combination of size and athleticism (supplemented by some skills). Zion was the definition of Man-Child. Comparing Flagg to Barrett may be a better comparison, or to Holmgren. Very good college players, who may develop into NBA All-Stars. I'm not sure Flagg's skill-level is any better or even as good as Holmgren's was. But Flagg is more physically ready/mature than Holmgren was, but not near the degree Zion was.
