This is a common statistical misunderstanding. There have been 2 teams over the last 15 years that have tried to win this way with true freshman (Kentucky and Duke).

If we say that those teams tried to win with freshman every year, If we count all of those years and just the AD, and Okafor titles that would be 2 out of 30 titles chances or 6.6%, and then everyone else won 13 of 5,295 chances (15 years times the 353 other teams) a .283% chance. It is not even close.
