Kamala was a weak candidate and chained to an unpopular President. The border and economy drove the results.
Over half of my friends/family are Republicans. Some are even elected officials.
They think Trump is an offensive idiot that embarrassed the country on Jan 6th.
But they also think Kamala was an even worse choice for the border, economy and foreign policy dangers in the world.
Most Republicans don't buy all the conspiracy BS and lies. That is still reserved for the extremists who will drive the swing voters back to the Dems if they swing the country too far right.
They can't, because if they did, they would see just how big of a wuss they were.

Economies improve, people can recover from war and natural catastrophes but we were on the precipice of a new Dark Ages if she won and the ideas this nation was founded on, a Bill of Rights , a nation for the people, by the people, was much closer to extinction than people realize. This election is just a battle, it's not the war but we know much better what we're dealing with now which is a silver lining from the 2020 defeat. Trump 2016 thought at the end of the day the Democratic Party, the RINOs, the bureaucratic institutions would fight with him in public but be pragmatic behind closed doors for the good of the Country. They don't care about the nation, they want to continue the grift. Our coalition of talent is much stronger, our army of citizens are much, much better prepared for the fight this time around..
