But UK still holds a plurality of 40% - Bama and OSU each 27% - for whatever that might be worth.Originally posted by TNTUK:
7 crystal ball picks to Bama today...
I really could use some inside info on strippers. Does he have a blog or a podcast on this?Originally posted by CATFANFOLIFE87:
24/7 is running with unsubstantiated rumors like TMZ or the National Enquiror don't give yourselves an ulcer over it. If you are really pointing to Drew Franklin to justify your position on anything but strippers or Fireball you need to reevaluate the situation big time
Same here, I have a meeting at work at that time, and figured I would just check the board afterwards and see.Originally posted by TJS4UK:
If the announcement is broadcast, I am no longer planning to tune in. Too much drama.
I get your point. But Shaun Alexander was the NFL mvp in 2005. And is number 7 overall in rushing tds in NFL history.Originally posted by flyingkat:
He needs to look at Tim Couch and Shawn Alexander. Tim came to UK, was a legend for it, got hurt in the pros and makes bank on all the endorsements he gets because he is so beloved by the Big Blue Nation. Alexander went to Bama, had a great career there, a successful career in the pros, but is you never hear about any endorsement deals down there for him because he is just another in a long line of former Alabama players.
If Harris goes to UK, he will be able to retire on the endorsement deals he will get as a UK legend. If he goes to Alabama he'll be just another in a long line.
If he hasn't he will. I don't think this is over tomorrow if he picks Bama.Originally posted by mrschwump:
I'll ask again...has Dawson talked to Harris?
At this point, I would be surprised if Dawson hadn't made any contact. However, he seems to be more of a thought than a person. I expect things to heat up when UK finally holds a press conference for him.Originally posted by mrschwump:

Nothing against our guys up front, but most of them were Joker recruits or baby-faced Stoops recruits. We haven't had much to work with.Originally posted by mrschwump:
Again, UK's inability to field an effective SEC level OL has to be a factor.
This. And it doesn't really matter if Harris chooses UK or Bama unless we get this fixed. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. We've got solid RB's, maybe not as talented, but not that far off. What we need are holes for them to run through and a passing game that prevents teams from stacking the box.Originally posted by mrschwump:

Did she take time out from writing Harry Potter books to tweet about UK football recruiting? Just trying to lighten the mood on here, I know the differenceOriginally posted by Houstonwildcat:
J K Rowland tweeted UK was about to make a move on a 2015 RB committed elsewhere. An accompanying picture shows a RB from a "Fitch" HS. Anybody know who it might be? I have tried researching the database, but no luck.

The OL should just get better and better from here on out. All Stoops kids are young, but time will fix that. Stoops is also appears to be bringing in stud OL classes in 2015 & 2016.Originally posted by mrschwump:

Yeah, poor Shawn Alexander. He only has millions of dollars to retire on from his NFL career. That's a pretty bad comparison.Originally posted by flyingkat:

If he is worried about competing with our four stars then he should be prtrified about competing with their five stars, and the latest five star enrolling today with a spring training advantage is 6' 2" 234# with a 4.5 forty, and I think Bama prefers the jumbo back.Originally posted by Grumpyolddawg:
I hope he signs with UK. But the truth is RB is probably UK's most talented position with or without Harris, Boom and the other backs aren't just going to hand him the number 1 spot. He will have a fight on his hands and thats a credit to UK's returning backs, not a slam at Harris. But as with any instate 5* its important to do all you can and push hard to keep him in state. That is the biggest reason he needs to choose UK, to show others that the state of Kentucky can produce elite talent and keep it home. But make no mistake, UK already has an elite back, if he were running behind a better OL he would have put up some big numbers last season.
They do love the big back. I believe Yeldon is there smallest back and he is 6-2 221.Originally posted by jauk11:

As far as the NFL goes I'm not sure he will miss anything at UK that he will get at Bama, unless it is not many carries so he can save himself for the NFL.
