That's funny, I took a pain in the ass class for years and am trying to apply what I learned over in the Political Forum.I'm in Muhlenberg, glad to meet you. I took a Stained-glass class in Newburgh many years ago, still doing glass after all these years
Probably met you at some point, played s lot there also!Nice to meet you sir. I grew up in Western Kentucky. Played a lot of golf in Muhlenberg County. Twin Oaks Golf Course. I think it closed 10-12 years ago.
WC, you must have aced the class!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂That's funny, I took a pain in the ass class for years and am trying to apply what I learned over in the Political Forum.
Good morning from ATX. Currently 39°F and cloudy. Expect steady temperatures all day. Rain inbound. Snow also forecast for DFW area. Try to get a walk in this morning before rain/snow starts.
Irritated skin late last night. Legs itched like crazy. Probably a reaction to some hot, spicy soup I devoured late yesterday afternoon.
Wishing y'all another great day.
Thanks man. Been giving the libs hell for years now haha. I have lived in the Newburgh/Evansville area of Indiana for over a decade now. Close to Kentucky though...grew up in KY, lived in KY my first 25 years, last seven of those in Lexington.

You two can't leave me out.Nice to meet you sir. I grew up in Western Kentucky. Played a lot of golf in Muhlenberg County. Twin Oaks Golf Course. I think it closed 10-12 years ago.

I was the Evansville, IN Sales Manager for CSX from late 1983 to early 1986. I moved to Henderson, KY to keep Bob Knight from getting any of my tax money. My house was on the same hill as the Audubon State Park. I was a member of the Henderson Country Club. I still have owner ship in it.
That area is a wonderful place to live.
I was in Evansville this morning. Met a customer there and took him about 1600 dollars worth of shades and did a verbal agreement on selling around 200 lamps for later. Then went to Costco and spent all the profit.Good stuff Bert. I'm sorry if I should know this cause I occasionally drop by the D-League...you knew Joe B. Hall or were close with him?
@BBUK
My wife did some allergy tests a couple of years ago. She knew she was allergic to one of the chemicals in the bleaching process for flour so only uses unbleached flour. Also, the same chemical must be used in "modified" anything....usually less than 2% in the ingredients.
However, during her tests she found out she is allergic to dairy (caused her life long constipation) and no longer has that issue. Also, egg whites were causing her nose to run constantly. She's doing much better, but it sure makes it difficult to find things she can eat.
Try to eliminate dairy for a while and see how that goes.

It doesn't take much dairy (small amount of cheese, etc) to cause her problems. She now drinks Almond Milk and has found a non dairy cheese and sour cream without a modified ingredient. That's pretty difficult to do.Thanks, I rarely if ever drink milk. I do indulge in things made of milk though. I do appreciate that as I do remember that being something I was concerned about at one point. I always think of milk as being non-chemically laced but you may be on to something as I type this thinking about it... Thanks again!
Great to hear your wife is doing better.

I liked Thomas and Malone, but pretty much haven't watched the NBA since Mashburn retired.
The cold hearted one.Uh, I know the bottom picture but.... Which one's you???? 😆
Calling for 5+ here tomorrow!Got our first snow of the season today. Started at 0800 and has been going off and on all day. Not heavy, but enough to build a snow man (about 1-2 inches). Still a chance for a little more tonight and then clearing. Below is this years frosty visitor. Daughter named him BB (Big Bobby).
Novel idea. Too bad our FB coaching staff seems inept.Wow using your tight ends as pass receivers what a great idea!!! Kentucky should try that sometime!
Welcome.Hello, D-Leaguers! Been doing the lurking thing for a while.
Read about some health related issues and thought I might respond to see if it helps anyone at all. A good friend of mine is studying to be a health coach (his wife will be doing functional medicine) and was taking to me a out some things he's learned in his studies.
Research has tied recent milk intolerance along a growing percentage of the population to the breeding of milk cows for increased production. The casein levels are higher in the newer hybrids and this is a big factor in increasing the intolerance the last few decades or so.
For people that still want milk in their diet with its benefits, they should look to Amish farms or those using more heritage breeds that have had little hybridization for purposes of milk production. Also, somehow skim and 2% milk have a higher amount of unhealthy casein levels per ounce, because they don't have the other ingredients in milk that offset the effects of the casein...? Anyway, we took their advice and switched to store bought organic whole milk and true whole milk (store whole milk is 6% milk fat) from local farms for cooking, goat milk as well, and it's helped us a bunch.
Also, the chemical used in most US wheat production is now bromine, and it's causing a TON of issues for people across the country. Very few mills use a less toxic bleaching product these days, but there are some. Weisenberger Mills has at least one flour that is NOT brominated (maybe more) that at least one person my friend knows personally can eat without any GI issues.
The fact is, however, there are 3 issues with US wheat. 1 is bromination 2 is glyphosate used not only as a weed killer, but also as a drying agent (causes the wheat to soak up TONS more of the herbicide than it normally would), and the hybridization of American wheat for production purposes changed the protein structure of the wheat/gluten (which caused the wheat intolerance issues we've seen increase over the last 40 years.
Wheat grown in some European nations such as Italy is neither brominated nor hybridized like US wheat. People who COULD NOT EAT WHEAT produced here, have been documented to have zero GI issues with the wheat they eat in Italy.
The turmeric and olive oil is a wonderful suggestion from what I've heard. Some I know have suggested castor oil for some GI home remedies as well, but the olive oil and turmeric sounds much better for ingestion.
Praying yall stay warm and safe, AND healthy through the coming weeks! May God bless the D-League!
Started here in the Berg about 5 this morningSnowing here. Prediction of 3 to 7 inches. 😟Everyone stay safe.
Yes. Many good times with Joe. I was his North Florida, South Georgia contact. Back in those days the AAU tourney was held down there and I would pick him up at the airport and take him to where ever he wanted to go.Good stuff Bert. Need a new vehicle myself. My F150 is a 2007 and the KIA Sportage is a 2006 so they are both getting old. My wife has the newest (2017 Nissan Rogue) but has recently said she wants a new one too. Well, I told her that I am waiting until after I pay off the house (end of this year or the next). We are currently 10 years in on a 30-year mortgage, and while I have enough to do it now, I would not have much left over. Need to build some extra back up money first.OT: Good morning all,
This is my regular day off, I have thankfully been able to take some good time away from work. If I didn't have people I felt obligated to give my best too, I'd seriously think about hanging it up from the sector I work in.
My last hope is the DOGE reforms this crapola and fast.
I have no desire to stop working because I can still perform well but I am sick of a couple people I work under, they need to be gone. The 38 or so people I supervise are a different story. No clunkers in the bunch. A first for me.
Working on some house stuff and tax stuff, and rental stuff, and auto stuff. Waiting and going to hold off a bit as My Darling needs a new car/ SUV, I will take over her Camry, and sell my Mazda... I will wait until President Trump gets engrained and go from that point .....
I will be lurking but have a fine and blessed day all...
