I do not understand running it on 3rd and 8 when you really shouldn't be confident in your special teams right now.
Needed that to take the wind out of their sails. Now, 4 down territory every time.

Kentucky from long ago could not lose 6 points because of bad special teams on the road and win...but when you got a defense like this. Covers up a lot of mistakes.

Not getting ahead of myself because there is always a head scratch loss but Ole Miss, UT and UGA are the only possible defeats left in the season IMO. Yeah, only 2 games into the season. Maybe I did get ahead of myself.

I did not have a good feeling going in but, I did pick UK in the UK-UF prediction thread and picked UK in the stupid underdog pick thread so...Just lucky I guess. Could not bring myself to pick against them with the gators.
I did not know anything about the sanctions at the time. That was even before the Cats Pause.
The railroad moved our department to Florida in August of 1976. So by 1977 we had started a "Wildcat" Club and we rented two greyhound type buses to go to the game that year. We got our tickets through UK.
Bottom line we all had a great weekend.

First things first, the defense looks stellar. We have 2 non-SEC opponents coming up to work on some things (looking at you OL). Hopefully we get C-Rod back in one of those games, so he can get some reps in before SEC play.
