Evening D
Been a while. Life has been crazy busy
Did want to share that my sweet granddaughter told me she is going to be a big sister this year!
Very excited...now going to have TWO new grand babies to spoil by Christmas
Hope you all are doing well
Hugs to you all

Congrats to ATC on the anniversary, and to Bev on the two new grandbabies. Just got back from the Committee of 101 golf scramble and cookout. Joe B was there. He can't walk but he rode around in a golf cart, talking to different groups. Still pretty sharp. Kenny Walker, Goose Givens, and Larry Stamper all played too. Pretty good day. No rain at the University Club, good food, and won $100 in gift cards. Bert, I know it was pouring when we were down your way. What is the total rainfall up to, and has it slacked down?

We are being inundated by rain. Since noon we have had 2.36 inches of rain and it is pouring right now.
I want to thank you for sending some of that down here. We were in a mild drought but yesterday probably got about 7 inches. My rain gauge was emptied at 6 inches and this morning I had another inch in it. I could use about 5 inches a day for a solid week. This Florida sand soaks it up and the sun evaporates it very quick. We have 100% chance of rain this morning and 80% this afternoon. So maybe we can get another 5 or so.

Hello stranger and congrats on the news. I know your Christmas will be bigger and brighter. And all days in between. Drop in often as we need the balance on this thread and be sure to take a deep breath of relaxation in this hectic world. .

Good morning D League

Sunday morning and time to get ready for the Lord's Day. I am enjoying my black, strong coffee and also enjoying the greenery that has come over night with our rains. It sure helped my little garden and fruit trees. Our current temperature is 75 and it is partly cloudy. With a 100% chance of rain our high is projected at 83. I can see the clouds a gathering to the West and the Weather Channel says they will be here at 9:30 AM in force.

I am loving what is going on with our football recruiting and anxious to see a few more commitments coming our way. We are running with the big boys for players now. SEC big boys. That will bring you W's

Have a great day all,

Good morning! Still raining off and on, more on than off though.

Went out to put another coat on the doors yesterday but mowed the grass instead. Rained about 10 minutes after I finished. Decided the doors didn't really need another coat after all so I just sat around and drank beers and listened to tunes for a couple of hours.

I probably won't hit it so hard today.

I checked the official Johns Creek rain gauge a little while ago and we have had a little less than 3 inches of precious rain in the last 3 days.
