Morning D, coffee in hand. Still on vacation.
The wedding was supposed to be outside Saturday....don't think that's gonna happen now. Forecast calls for a wet day. Daughter is bummed, but you cant control the weather...she's just gotta roll with it. Turn a negative into beer...I mean positive!
Been busy...made a 4 x 8 raised garden bed, had 2 loads of gravel brought in for the driveway. I still have a pile of it I need to spread around. Mowed, push mowed & trimmed the yard, still trying to get a trailer licensed along with a few other honey do's.
Still need to clean out fish pond and put front brakes on truck....
Just got hit with a thunderstorm...rain today for awhile.
No golf this week.

Looks & sounds as if all is going well here in D town.

PS that was a big (insert expletive) snake!

I really need to buy some new surge protectors for my equipment. They recommend replacing every 2-3 years and I'm well beyond that. Most are probably just power strips now with very little or no protection. It's not going to be cheap since I need around 60 outlets in total.

Good morning D! We it looks like we are getting ready to get some down pours!!! Weather said we are going to get three rounds today! They said the first round at 12 but it's here! Mrs. M said the other day I think we need to paint the bedroom, so guess what I am getting ready to do this weekend. I am NOT going to complain since I retired she has been great as to not come up with a honey-you-better-do list! She has allowed me to do what I like doing like metal detecting and fishing, I have an angel!!!!! It took 12 years But GOD answered a prayer!!!! Someone told me she was crazy for getting involved with a man raising 3 children on his own, BUT she did and it was the BEST thing that happened to my family and me!!!! I prayed to GOD to send me someone that would love my children as much as me and HE answered my prayers!!!! I really think she loves my kids and now the grandkids more than me!!! But I will take that!!! LOL Ya'll have a great and safe day!!!! Looks like E'Ville going to get hit hard with rain today around 3"!

The fried chicken I really like at Cracker Barrel is the two boneless chicken breasts they fry on Sunday. It is the only day they serve it, and it is delish.

Well...got the pond cleaned out. 2 wheelbarrow loads of leaves & muck. Had to fish out a few goldfish & a frog outta the net a few times. Glad thats over...if I ever see a snake in there itll be the last time I do that.
Trying to get motivated to do the brakes. I do have cold beer...that should help.

Speaking of beer .... hey ymmot, what golf course do you usually play? Just curious...

Sun just popped out.
Done with my work list. Next 2 days I will be in wedding mode.

Good day today! Wen't down and got Dad this morning. Asked him what he wanted to do today and he said he didn't care. I said good, then you can come out to my house and watch me clean off the patio. Stopped off on the way and picked us up a 1.2lb T-bone to eat for lunch. Put it in the sous vide for 2 hours at 130° and fried it up in a cast iron skillet out on my cook table. Of course I let him have the good side. He said it was more tender than the bread they give him at the home.

I got the patio cleaned off and laid out the bases for the 4x4's. 12x24 is a pretty good sized room.

Best part of the day was when he told me that he enjoyed today more than any day we went to the piddler malls. I told him I was glad to hear that because when I get this thing done we'll be coming out here more often. He can't get inside my house with his power chair but I'm making the doors to the lanai big enough for him to get in.

Has to be a day trip only because I'm in charge for a week or 10 days. My birthday is the 23rd but I can't remember whether or not I take her to the airport in the morning or afternoon. Good morning! Been some weather last night and into this morning. Lightening, thunder, rain, you know the drill.

Slept almost 5 hours. Penalty to pay for sleeping a straight 9 hours the night before.

Oaks day and we'll be betting em early. Hope to pick up a few nuggets about tomorrow from the horse racing channel. It's their job. We only watch that channel 2 days per year. That's plenty.

It is a windy and cloudy 65.3°F here. Yesterday I had to go to Bowling Green and when I came back we simply had a downpour. I have not seen it rain as hard since 1982 in Northern Florida on I-10. For 12 mile on I-65 we never got to 55 mph due to the volume of rain. Everyone had their flashing light on so that they could be seen.

I am getting ready for my 55th class reunion this June 22. I was the class President and it always falls on me. We have already sent the letters out with all the details. Now we have to follow up with phone calls. Hard work to try to herd cats.

Current temperature 74° with a high expected this afternoon of 84°. The humidity is increasing which usually means some moisture falling from the sky but yesterday all we had at the house was sprinkles. We had thunder and lightning but no rain but my wife was at Home Depot about a mile from the house and she got a downpour that lasted about 10 minutes. We have a 20% chance today. Summer time is coming.

Nothing big going on today but tomorrow is the big BBQ on Moon Lake Ranch and rally for Donald Trump. This is going to be fun. Have a nice day

Hey D-League,
I hope everyone is doing well out there. We woke up to a muggy, 65 degrees, headed for 85 later on. We've had some crackling thunder/lightning and some pockets of heavy rain around here early this morning. Otherwise, just sticky, muggy, moist air; I guess summer is right around the corner.

-I haven't been on here in a little while, so I thought I might check in and see what's new
-Have all of our basketball players decided who is staying, who is leaving, and so on?
-Hopefull our football team is keeping in shape and staying on track for some good practices, learning, and mastering the schemes for the upcoming season.

-I've been playing around with some investments here lately and could really use some advice if any of you all have been successful and are willing to share your secrets.
