Just got done paying it forward one more time. My Mom gave me an Atmos stock, then I gave my children one share. Now as we started having grandchildren I started giving each one a share when they were born. Just sent my 9th transfer this morning. I figure if they will just leave it alone and pay into it a little they may have a few shares we they get older!
Between 1993 and 1999, I gifted my daughter around 80 shares of Atmos Energy stock, which grew to over 250 shares via the Dividend Reinvestment Plan. I turned it over to her in 2012. She blew through it in a matter of weeks. Still sickens me.

ATO is a great company. Gifting shares is an excellent idea.

I have never sold any of mine, just gave away to family. Mine is also in the reinvestment plan. I just know it's there if I need it.

Good morning from Vegas. Currently 62F, windy and sunny. I am eating breakfast at Steak n Shake located inside Hooters Hotel. My flight departs at 3:05 pm PST today.

I plan on walking to the airport, suitcase in tow. You read that correctly. It is only 1.5 miles. I love challenges of the sort. Worried about my damn hat getting blown off my head.

Anyways. ...
Safe travel today!

Cotton mouth water moccasin. They kill a man. People say they will run from you but notice this one does just the opposite. I have never seen a cotton mouth run from anything and I have seen more than my share of them. It is the snake I fear "respect" the most.
Killed one that bit my lure at Rattler last year and have another one on video that I chased off from my stringer of bass.

The guy on the left is Ymmot, the guy on the right is Don.

This big boy was spotted on the river yesterday. Keep your eyes open

I Hate them and if I had a shotgun rifle or hand gun he would sleep with the fish. I was about 10 years old my older cousin took me to KY Lake fishing. Trees out over the water and all of the sudden thud as a 4 ft cotton mouth joined us in the rear of the boat. My cousin took a boat paddle and smacked him out of the boat. Moved but we had been catching crappie.

ymmot, we used the polycarbonate on part of our deck, I got mine at Lowes, we used the smoke gray color. It gave some shade but the afternoon sun was hot!

I was looking at the white. Was going to go with steel and paint it white. I don't know how much it will matter though, I have two oak trees that will block most of the sun in the summer.

Shot an 83 today and came very close to getting a double eagle. 569yd par 5 and rolled just past the hole to about 4 feet. Might be the best 3 wood I've ever hit. Killt it. Wind assisted.

Got a bunch of lumber today. Will try and pressure wash the patio tomorrow for the last time. Have already identified a couple of new problems today. They're just potential solutions.

I'm going to go get the wood for the porch today. Looks like this is happening faster than I thought. Oh well, there's nothing I can do now but roll along with it.

Might be going with polycarbonate corrugated roofing. It's white and should reflect sunlight and it's also very light and easy to manipulate. Con- it's not steel. Anyone have any experience?
Safety 1st, Sharp tools. Measure twice.

I assume you made it ok. I checked out the route when I took a shuttle on Monday, not bad. Had a great time hanging out and celebrating Willy4UK’s wedding.

Yes, thanks. Sidewalk appears to end near the right curve to terminal 1, but it simply detours right. Walk past a fenced-in lot and there's a marked crossing. Keep going past the monument (behind it) and one has arrived. The trek required roughly 45 minutes from Howard Johnson to Terminal 1. I've read the reason for a sidewalk all the way to the terminal is because some broke individuals complained after they lost the butts gambling and were posing a danger by walking out on the street.

Glad you arrived back okay. I also had a wonderful time. Definitely a great trip.

I tried it a couple of weeks ago. I didn't like it at all.

Apparently that front which hit Vegas a couple days ago may also come here.
That happens fairly frequently when a low pressure trough extends deep toward equatorial latitudes. Southern winds here in the southwest frequently "train" into tornados once reaching the plains and lose the disruptive elevational impact of western mountains and continental divide on the Coriolis.

Don't forget Plenty Otoole.

Bond: Good shot
Bad guy: I didn't know there was a pool down there

I hated to hear that Omaha Beach was scratched(loved the name). So who are you picking to win the Derby? I'm going with Improbable.

I was planning on making a trifecta key around Omaha Beach. My wife has been watching past races and studying for the last week, she'll be my go to for who to bet.

Anyone ever see the DI starring Jack Webb? Great movie and a must see for the older gents here. Younger people could do themselves a favor and watch it too.
Agree warrior-cat. Jack Webb was perfect for the role as a Drill Instructor. He had the voice and the stature for it. Plus he was a great actor. Jack Webb was once married to Julie London.

Good morning D League

Nice morning with a current temperature of 72° and some rain may come around noon. Our afternoon temperature will be 88° The humidity is increasing and you can feel it in the air. Sweat boy, sweat.

One month away from hurricane season. There is something going on in the tropics right now but it will fizzle out before it gets here. So if we can get some rain this afternoon I will take it. I want it dry for Saturday though. Big rally and BBQ on a cattle ranch I don't want to miss.

If you are at Epcot today look in the sky for the Blue Angels. They are on their way to an air show in South Florida and will pass over Disney and do a little flip or two. Have a great day all.

I love the morning radio around here. You get some crazy stuff. They have a segment between 6:00 and 6:30 where they interview the local sheriff. Well last night two guys got into an argument over which is best a Ford or a Chevy. It became heated and a woman came running outside where they were arguing, I guess to break it up. Well shots started firing and she was hit 5 times. It is best to keep some things to yourself. You don't argue politics or Ford v Chevy

I found a video which shows a Ford winning this one.

Outta here and on my way to get Dad. Might bring him back to my house and entertain him with watching me pressure wash the patio. I can fire us up something to eat while I work. He said he doesn't care what we do just as long as he gets out of the home for awhile, so I think I'll take him up on that. Two birds, one stone.

I was exhausted last night. Not enough sleep the night before, golf in 20mph wind for 4 hours, loading, unloading, and stacking about 1200lbs of lumber, seems to have worn me out. Went to sleep at 2100 last night and didn't wake up until 0600 this morning. Feel great now though and ready to do it all again. I say that because I don't really have to do it all again.

Morning D, coffee in hand. Still on vacation.
The wedding was supposed to be outside Saturday....don't think that's gonna happen now. Forecast calls for a wet day. Daughter is bummed, but you cant control the weather...she's just gotta roll with it. Turn a negative into beer...I mean positive!
Been busy...made a 4 x 8 raised garden bed, had 2 loads of gravel brought in for the driveway. I still have a pile of it I need to spread around. Mowed, push mowed & trimmed the yard, still trying to get a trailer licensed along with a few other honey do's.
Still need to clean out fish pond and put front brakes on truck....
Just got hit with a thunderstorm...rain today for awhile.
No golf this week.

Looks & sounds as if all is going well here in D town.

PS that was a big (insert expletive) snake!
