Good morning from ATX. Currently 78°F. May hit 90°F later today. ATX received lots of rain while I was away.

Saw my long, lost cousin at Tampa airport yesterday. She's 66, and has been a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for 17 years. Previously, she was a Pan-Am flight attendant 15 years. She works 9 days per month, but many days are over 12 hours.

Monday, Monday.

Y'all behave.

Good Morning D

Like Bert we got needed rain. Now need it to dry out. But looks to be Moreno rain on the way for today. Many yards to mow and a very busy week lined up. My to do list keeps growing instead of decreasing.

Very much looking forward to the BB team. But I’m still concerned about balanced outside shooting. Hope I’m wrong.

We sometimes have to use the aquamower. [winking]

We had some high winds early this morning, as much as 80 mph. Some trailers and boats at the local lakes were turned over and trashed. I did a walk around before leaving for work to assess any damage and found none so far. Other places had trees down and lighter items thrown about. Hit us at around 02:15 this morning.

There was a scene in some old movie where someone was trying to scare someone by putting a rattlesnake in his mailbox. I think of that scene everytime I get the mail out of there.
My Soph and Junior year in college I worked some nights and weekends at Park Mammoth Resort. There were two coke, snack areas with machines outside. My most damning responsibility was to remove the copper heads from under the coke machines. They loved the warmth. I customized a snake stick with a really long handle. If you poked long enough they would come out.

Tough duty.
