I've gotta ask Rooster, why the CSX train pics?
They're not always CSX. The number on the train corresponds with the number of the page we're on. He's got a pretty good streak going.
I've gotta ask Rooster, why the CSX train pics?
Trains, I LOVE them. Train sounds, whistles and horns. Train music. Grew up next them. That's where we played. On the tracks, in the train yards. When I got lost following my 2nd grade flame home from school after stealing a kiss in the coatroom, I heard the train, and followed the tracks until recognized the surroundings and walked home. Thirsty, tired & smarter.I've gotta ask Rooster, why the CSX train pics?
Be careful, that handle is hot.80°➫ 110° Clear, Hot, & Dry.
Good Morning D
Some younger posters hate those pictures. Not me.Does anyone remember who the knucklehead was who came up with the idea to post pics with numbers? It didn't sit too well with some.

I like trains
These old steam engines are my favorites. My daddy worked for the ICRR for about 30 years. I worked for them too back in the day on the Barkley Dam Project.

Then you have probably heard this one before and forgive me if already posted before I joined in the thread:They are for us RR lovers, I am a retired CSX guy and their numbers are the page number.
Rooster is a picture genius.
Dang Rooster you are quick!
I have it memorized. And what is really bad, is that the railroad, at the least mine, was like the military; if something went wrong it was someones fault. Then you have probably heard this one before and forgive me if already posted before I joined in the thread:
It's not my place to run the train
The whistle I can't blow.
It's not my place to say how far
The train's allowed to go.
It's not my place to shoot off steam
Nor even clang the bell.
But let the damn thing jump the track
And see who catches hell.
We have a rail crew here at Ft. Sill for loading and moving army equipment to a site to be connected into by contracted train lines and taken to ports or distant training areas. I worked with them a lot when I worked at the unit movement office. From loading rail cars to switching tracks and coupling and uncoupling cars.I have it memorized. And what is really bad, is that the railroad, at the least mine, was like the military; if something went wrong it was someones fault.
Was the cyst a problem? Curious because I have a lump on the right side of mine and the doctors at the Hospital at Sill said that as long as it did not hurt or grow any larger it was really no problem. Not the words my wife was wanting to hear.Afternoon folks. Been to the hospital since early this morning. The wife had an elective surgery to remove a cyst from her neck. We got back home just before noon.
At noon we had a big thunderstorm and it dumped on us. We got nearly an inch in thirty minutes. Coming back from the hospital it was 92 degrees on my cars thermometer. So there was a lot of energy to work with.
@ymmot31 Austin plans on being here at 4pm August 1. You are welcome as I need help in beating him up! Also the stainless steel 18" x 18" schedule 40 is cut and hopefully delivered to my house tonight.
Gooday, D!
(I appreciate the locomotives)
How in the world is Chelsea Manning even allowed to run for anything, and who put her up to that? That is weird.
