79° F here at 9:10 am. It is going to be a hot one again. I am probably not od a lot outside.
I watched the start of John Bronowski's Ascent of Man last night (on DVD). I suppose I will finish the series over the next week or two. I had forgotten just how good it was.

Austin, I had a similar experience while I was letting Sugar do her business in that vacant lot near my office. A little woman was walking 2 Pit Bulls. The woman must have weighed about 100 pounds. These dogs made a beeline for Sugar, the little woman fell down, but she stopped the dogs. It scared the beejusus out of me. I picked Sugar up, and we got the Hell out of there.

When I went to one of my sons wedding in 2006, I knew I would have put up with my ex-wife but, unknown to me until we got there, she (ex-wife) had also invited an ex-girlfriend I had been seeing after her. When she came up to me and wanted a hug I had to just put out my hand in greeting. My current wife ask "What is she doing here?" She had never met her but, I had mentioned her name before in conversation because she was still friends with my mother as well and I knew we could possibly cross paths when I was home. My wife was not happy and I heard about it for the next 2 days.

But not today. I made the right decision to lay out. Can't wait to go to bed. Otherwise it would have been a grand idea.

Good morning from Lakeland, FL. Currently 78°F. Expecting rain later and a high of 87°F.
I visited a brewery in Winter Haven, FL yesterday. Put my bike on the bus. 32 miles round trip. Later today, I might take another short bus trip before meeting up with Willy.

Ha ha! Yeah, craziness happens when we link up.
It's 70 degrees with clear skies in Elgin OK. and one cup of coffee down. Took today and tomorrow off from work and will be pond jumping at FT. Sill in the mornings the next two days and taking my daughter where ever she wants to go in the afternoons. Look out large mouths, I am on a mission.

Good morning. I slept well last night. Been on a kick where I wake up around 0830 every morning.
I'll be leaving soon to pickup Dad this morning and head out to Etown to a piddler mall. Supposed to be a big one. A good time will had by all.
Friend stopped by yesterday with a gas grill for us to put together. I put a couple of huge racks of baby backs on the egg a couple of hours before he showed up. About the time we got started on the grill he had to go back home to meet with the air conditioning people. I went ahead and put the grill together myself but there were times when I could have used the extra hands. He was surprised when he got back an hour later.
Ribs turned out like they always do, tender, tasty, terrific. Really need to get started on my cook table. @Bert Higginbotha do you think that dude can still get that SS plate for me?
