That's what I was going to say. By the time I was a seasoned rock and roller of 8 years old I found that I liked the music on WKLO better than the music on WAKY.remember WKLO

Look up "Big Bertha" sometime. Discussed it some with "other brother" just last night. Ever heard of Don Garlits? Below is a pic of my step-brother, Buddy (R) and the bike Don Garlits could not beat back in the day.
WLRS was more album rock in my day. I remember they'd play full albums at midnight. Pink Floyd, Yes, Jethro Tull, etc.. That's what I remember from WLRS.WLRS was the "hard rock " station...WLOU was the soul station back in our day..WTMT was country

Dr. Demento. What memories.....I was listening to WKQQ out of Lexington before WLRS. I remember riding around in the country listening to Dr. Demento on KQQ. Survived it.

Boston was another good group from back in the day. My favorite Steve Miller Band song was "The Joker".I owned this very tape back in the day. Boston, too.

I love to do that stuff. It makes me feel good.I've been a shade tree mechanic most of my life. I had to be pretty desperate to take a problem to a mechanic. Limit myself these days to brakes, spark plugs, changing oil, filters and belts and hoses if easy to get at.
