I remember a few years back when a professor here used maggots and leeches to treat a bad case of gangrene. It worked just as good as surgery did. Maggots have been a sterile way of eating dead flesh for a long time. Leaches I've never heard of(son of a doctor, which gives me 0 credibility)Wow.
