Pulled the first butt at 2000. Was very good. I guess that will be my new rub from now on. Second butt is still going and is in the stall right now at 164°. I think it's going to be done sooner than I thought. I'll check it again at 0000.
Me and old lady discussed BBQ today. We're jumping into this soon.

Problem is I've evolved into less of a meat eater. For some reason, I just can't get into the carnivore thing like years past.

I normally put olive oil on the meat before I put on the rub. Some people use yellow mustard. Today I used bacon grease. I think that is going to be the program from now on as well.
