Raw did 1.47 million on Monday which barring any adjustments would be the lowest rated on record.

Considering there’s severe storms moving through Jacksonville it’s a good thing AEW is on the road tonight.

Many may not believe im about to say it but the first hour of AEW isn’t too awful terrible. Cody and QT’s strap match sucked and Olivier was pretty awful as per usual, but everything else was pretty good. There is still an hour left and apparently a bucks match. I’m sure that will be shit like everything else they do but I’m anxious to see what it brings. Stay tuned.

Damn that entrance attire for Andrade was a slick Batman call out. I honestly thought they made him feel important.

How’s Andre Igudola looking in the ring?

What happened to this major Christian signing?

Looks like Andre getting a bigger rub than him already.

I like Britt baker and have no issue with what she said but those ppl on here claiming aew doesn’t take shots at wwe well she just did

I thought he looked really good and felt like a big deal. Christian may be a long game thing like Miro, idk.

The lights going out and someone debuting when they come back on never gets old for me anyway.

Black posted an five minute video on Instagram earlier tonight that pretty much debuted the character.
They've already got a T-shirt for him.

PwInsider is reporting when Black was moved to the main roster WWE didn’t change the no compete to 90 days. For NXT wrestlers it’s only 30 days if they are released.
In essence a clerical error made it possible for him to debut tonight.

The Omega/Hangman segment was great and the crowd was at their loudest of the night for them. Kenny’s “Bangkok” spot nice.

Britt’s promo was fire.

Jim Lambert was definitely doing a “Cornette.”

Black was a surprise, atleast the timing.

@UKWildcatT i think it was you that said awhile back that Andrade looked like a guy that used to used roids but stopped and let himself go.... If that’s what someone looks like who let themselves go then I can’t imagine what he would look like if he still cared. He looked outstanding.

“Tommy End or whatever he’s going to be called”

“That is Malachi Black”

“Oh my God”

I guess Excalibur has super secret text messages with every debuting wrestler.
They did it on purpose because of Tommy’s Instagram post but they should know that not every casual follower understands where that comes from.

Britt is an improving promo and doing some good stuff. I liked Aleister Black appearing and kicking Cody’s ass. Andrade is a great wrestler but as I’ve said before, I think that the language barrier is going to hold him back from being a major star in a business where mic work is so key. I know he is fluent in English but it’s very hard to understand.

MJF and Jericho were of course great in their spot. Two of the better talkers in the business. Those two, Heyman, Kofi, McIntyre when fired up, Edge, and MVP are the best talkers right now.

Pockets and the gal vs 2/3 of the butcher, baker, and candlestick maker was junk. I also was not pleased with the little fellers vs Kingston and Kroger brand La Parka. I’m sure they’re nice guys but I’d like to slap the shit out of Balding and Pie Face. Overall it was a nice show but still did a lot of hokey shit that you’re just going to have to accept with AEW.

Although… now I’m wondering if we have a serial killer wrestling in AEW?

Who’s going to WWE in Louisville later this month? I know TheExhaustedOne won’t have time as he will be at the Tokyo Dome and Dynamite but still.

I am. A friend of mine who’s a single dad is taking his sons to their first wrestling show. They asked me if I want to join them, and I accepted. Haven’t been to a house show of any sort in almost 10 years.

I liked most of the promos and segments on dynamite last night, glad to see more emphasis on that side of things. If the young bucks disappeared my enjoyment of AEW would go up a lot.

Hangman is still over with the crowds, but I really hope he ditches the dark order going into the title match, whenever that takes place. Been out of the AEW loop for a while, so I don’t understand why IC/Pinnacle is still going on. I don’t know much about Black, but that was a solid debut.

In order to follow a storyline involving the face of the company a viewer would have had to watch an Instagram movie released the same day by a wrestler who have no hint of being currently signed with AEW.

Yea it makes no sense they should have played that video weeks ago and hinted at someone coming. Instead they had him show up like everyone knew who he was or why he's there or what the reason for the name was. I will say I understood it because I was paying attention to his instagram but no casual fan would have any reason to recognize that.

I’d hope it’s just alcohol courage and someone who hasn’t watched a lot of wrestling. I’ve seen enough videos of wrestlers beating the crap out of fans.

One of my favorites

That’s awesome. One of my kids has never been so I’m taking him to his first show.

I haven’t been to a show since Raw at Rupp in 2019. The featured stars for this show are apparently pretty loaded as it stands. Both world champs on the show. RKBro and AJ featured as well.

I haven’t looked into the card, but that sounds promising. Last show I attended was a WWE house show at Rupp in 2012.

Main event was advertised as CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan in a submission match for the WWE title. (Card subject to change)

We ended up getting Cena vs Big Show in a steel cage. Ughhhh

the only show I've been to that had a change of the advertised card (that I can remember) was back in 1998 at Louisville Gardens. It was supposed to be the New Age Outlaws vs. The new Midnight Express (🤮) and Road Dogg wasn't there. Finkel said he had the flu and couldn't perform. So it was Billy Gunn vs. Bob Holly with Bart and Chyna outside the ring.

Does anyone listen to Jeff Jarrett's podcast with Thompson? Conrad's podcasts fell out of my youtube and I checked back to see if he was still doing them because I handnt seen any in a while and I'll be damned if I didn't see he got Jeff Jarrett doing one. I really like it.

I have not.

I enjoy the JR podcast, but he is very bitter and it gets annoying. Sometimes I skip it because it's reviewing PPVs before I was watching.
The Bruce Prichard show is almost unlistenable at this point. Half the show is "screw Meltzer" even when he has nothing to do with the topic at hand
I listened to Bischoff a few times but he was so full of crap I couldn't stand it
I didn't watch WCW until the NWO so I don't listen to Tonys. Nothing against him but I'm just not familiar with the product
