- I'm noticing a trend - AEW wrestlers calling out their shit booking. First Wardlow, now Darby with White. Doing that doesn't make AEW look the brightest but if it's Tony's way of saying he hears the fans and it's time to get serious, then it's a good thing I guess. "We fked this guy over" is probably not something that needs to be highlighted weekly.

Lol that means Mercedes is probably getting close to that. You're not revolving an entire episode around her, trying to improve the women's division right before she shows up, and hiring her WWE writing buddy and then paying her (only) 2M-3M. TK is Bischoff on steroids and horse tranquilizers. It's Khan family money but damn dude, get a grip. I think he'd buy a woman a house on the first date if she said she's been in the Tokyo Dome.

The owner is happy, the fanbase is currently happy, top wrestlers are getting paid insane amounts for what they're providing once a week, buttt the pool of fans is shrinking, there's mostly empty arenas except for special occasions and PPV's, and ratings keep trending downward. AEW isn't going anywhere but Tony is spending his wealth like the Steve Martin character in The Jerk.

Just got around to watching anything related to Dynamite last night when I couldn't fall asleep. I haven't watched much wrestling except for the spots they put on X (formerly Twitter).
The Ospreay/Fletcher match was great. Those guys can go. But why so many spots where it looks like if they're just one millimeter off, it will break someone's neck. And then dozens of late 2 counts. I think they feel like they have to get every single one of their move-sets into every match. It's not necessary. Save it.
Showcase it in other build up matches. Then unleash them in a PPV or something. Ospreay has a ton of offense. Just save it.

IMO, Rock N Roll Express was better than the US Express. Several copy cat type teams formed after they came out. Probably / maybe would rank Midnight Express ahead of them. They may be the third best "Express" tag team. IMO.
Cash Flo and Cash Wheeler should form a tag team named Cash Express. 🤣

I'm sure Tony loves seeing his newest star straight up say she's going back home at some point. I appreciate her honesty though. We know Mone's not retiring in AEW. Besides a handful of wrestlers, there really aren't WWE or AEW lifers. A lot of them are friends and over the following three to seven years we're going to see some big decisions made.

Darby Allin: went through pane of glass, got 12 stitches, won Sting's final match and vacated the tag titles
Jack Perry: told CM Punk to go cry him a river, got suspended, went to NJPW and joined House of Torture.

That’s the best thing about the creation of AEW. There’s not a monopoly anymore. If one company offers less than you like, you can measure your value with the other one.
Unless you are the most well paid person in the company, there shouldn’t be a lifer anymore.
Never understood someone saying they want a company to fail. You're basically turning into Vince from a ruthless business perspective at that point. I get frustrated with AEW but I'm glad it's around. We wouldn't have Punk back, either no one would know who MJF is or he'd be in NXT not as himself, Joe and Swerve wouldn't be these versions of themselves, there'd likely be no American Nightmare with Cody now being the face of WWE, Edge would have a legends deal, Christian might be retired or helping out in NXT, etc.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't criticize AEW and Tony though. I've seen some online act like we should lick his shoes because he helped create an alternative. Ain't doing that...but it's good it's not just WWE, ROH, TNA, and some random indies anymore.
Also Karrion Kross needs to go back to nxt or tna - he’s just not good on the main roster - he adds absolutely nothing except when that lady is there.
