Cal Said….

Absolutely insane he is the worst Coach in the nation and it’s not close
Gotta love when he says “tweak” that term was cool when they made a deep run after he supposedly “tweaked” something in 2014c but it’s becoming annoying how he throws it around every year and yet he’s still has the same outcome

He might play two 7 footers together in the tournament. This is the type of 💩 that pisses me off, he’s willing to do something ignorant but he won’t start his best players. Exactly why I have zero faith going into the tourney.
He said it to piss guys like you off . He has no intentions of doing that unless the game is out of hand

Actually, he said he may try two big guys together to protect the rim against the like of Wade Taylor and Boots Radford if they are breaking down our guards one on one.

If our guards play defense like they did against A&M, he should try anything.

There’s no need to try. We’re approaching 50 losses in less than half a decade. This is Kentucky. Blame is the least he should get.

How does anything approve of this sht show? He’s approaching droughts and losses we’ve never seen at Kentucky. How is this defendable?
Every coach has droughts. Examine John Wooden's career prior to 1964. Coach K had a really long drought well before he retired. Bob Knight had a desert of a drought. Read this board on their ideas about a Cal replacement. They're throwing darts at a list of the coaches in the news.

Nah, Kentucky has never had a coach 3+ years that is having these kinds of droughts and these kinds of losses.

Keeping Knight too long, what some here advocate with Calipari, is why Indiana never recovered. It literally destroyed their program.

There’s no need in defending John Calipari. He’s paid too much to win and he doesn’t win. Time to move on. This isn’t complicated.

Doesn’t matter when they’re all soft as charmin. Well, Ugo isn’t but he can’t make a shot if it isn’t a two handed dunk.

It isn't defending Calipari. It's standing against the nonsense that sounds like a lynch mob.

Well there’s really no lynch mob. It’s a passionate fan base that doesn’t like losing, which we’re doing a lot of these days. Fans of the greatest franchises and programs do not like losing in record fashion.

Don’t over complicate it and you’ll probably be okay with it.

If they were things you could do then why would you have not done those earlier in the season? Good coaches coach and other coaches tweak.
It’s funny (laugh not to cry funny) bc he did try it…multiple times…and it’s failed each time bc our bigs are weak and defense is even more atrocious if you have a big at the 4 (Mitchell is bad enough defensively as a 4 bc he’s slow laterally but he’s a good 5 defender in small ball bc he’s physical).

We are better w 3 guards and Thiero at the 4 for athleticism and defense/toughness and then a single 5. A moron can see that Mitchell coming back has impeded the strides we were making defensively bc we are forcing him to guard 4s that are quicker than he.

Every coach has droughts . But according to AI no NCAA coach in the history of college basketball has not started two lottery picks who are the best players on the team. The man is either unhinged or places his two pet NBA projects above the interest of the other players, fans and UK which pays him to put the best product on the court . He hasn’t this year . And should be dismissed for cause .

if by some miracle these kids go far in the tournament it will be in spite of Cal and not because of him .

EVERYONE breaks down our guards one on one. The answer isn't to hurt your offense. A real coach would have our guards actually guarding by march. Insanity.

The echo chamber egging each other to ever more exorbitant accusations based on imaginary things that people "know" to be true. <---That is what I mean.

Liking or not liking losing doesn't have anything to do with rabid reactions. Would you be surprised, for example, if the people who did something idiotic to that crap ref were posters here? Not doing idiotic things over the outcome of a game is a low bar. As the ad campaign would have it, "Don't do idiotic things over the outcome of a game."

That dude is so clueless. So, so, so, clueless.

I mostly tune Cal out but when we lose it's gonna be the same ole shit. Starting lineup gets down 8-10 points, we expend all our energy playing catch-up and may take a 2-4 point lead but we're basically out of gas and the other team retakes the lead we're done.

Something was very off for this team in the SEC tournament. It was like the stage was too big. I hope to God when that rears it's ugly head again, and it will, we calm down and just ball.

Coach K didn’t have a long drought before he retired. He won a national title in 2015 and went to the final four his last season lmao
