Brandon Garrison’s Posterization of the Minn St player

I know I shouldn't do this. But darn does he remind me of Andre Riddick lol
Riddick played really well early on, it seemed like he just wasn’t cut out mentally for Pitino or this level. He did make an all sec tourney team and averaged 8/5/2 in 19mpg which isn’t terrible his junior year. I know he underachieved based upon expectations but he was a good role player at worst his last 2 years.

Rick claimed Andre didn't like basketball that much.

DUDE, that's who I was thinking of last night and couldn't get the name in my brain! Yes, Riddick would do a nasty dunk then just stare through you on the way back down
Ya I think we got the best version of Riddick when we compare Garrison. But he definitely is extremely similar in many ways.

Reminded me of the 70s/80s and the ABA/NBA monster dunks. Cannot remember the commentator but once Darrel Dawkins did a similar dunk and he said man that was a gorilla dunk. People used that term for several years. Was the long arm look of the dunk itself.

I was a big fan of Riddick. Not sure why, but he always seemed sort of sad and shy, so my heart went out to him. I met him years ago when they used to have the basketball museum. His hands are HUGE. I shook his hand and mine must have felt like a Barbie doll hand to him.

But I don't see the Garrison / Riddick comparison. Riddick was a pogo stick. Long and wiry, with absolutely no offensive skill whatsoever. Garrison is much beefier, not as quick, but has much more upside on the offensive end.

I just referencing his mannerisms and play style. He is definitely different as well. He is Garrison. Obviously alot more offensive well rounded.

Garrison is better than I thought. Like his foot work, demeanor and skills.
UK is better than people think too.
This team “may” be the best team in America right now.
Name just one box that UK doesn't check off.
I read where some of you think this team doesn't rebound.
I dont buy that at all. Garrison, Williams, Carr and Oweh all rebound the ball.
This team literally has no weaknesses.
Sorry but they dont.
Maybe, experience playing together could be one but I just dont see it and 60 dimes in just 2 games confirms it.
Kentucky is loaded more so this yr than any team ever at UK with the lone exceptions being 1996 and 2015 and 1-12 we may have more talent than even those teams had.
